摘要： A cutlery device is provided having a blade with a sharpened edge and an opposite, unsharpened back. The cutlery device also includes a tang extending from the blade which is at least partially enclosed in a handle. The tang has a tapered thickness to produce a cutlery device that is balanced when grasped with some fingers on the handle and some fingers on the blade. The back of the blade is curved so that a finger may be comfortably pressed against the back. The handle is curved for comfort and pieces of the handle are secured on the tang with rivets of varying length to accommodate the shape of the handle. A sharpening aid is also provided for the cutlery device which has at least one angled wall for positioning a sharpening surface at a sharpening angle, permitting the cutlery device to be held with the blade positioned vertically during a sharpening operation.

摘要： A display package for an article includes a front and a rear panel having respective peripheral portions secured to one another in an operative condition of the package. At least the front panel is provided with a recess constituting, together with a juxtaposed portion of the rear panel, a compartment for accommodating the article therein with substantially no movement therein in the operative condition of the package. A holding element is also substantially immovably received in the compartment and extends across a corresponding portion of the article remotely from the rear panel to confine the article between itself and the rear panel. The holding element is substantially rigid, and each of the front panel and the holding element is of a transparent material.

摘要： Multi-purpose equipment 10 is disclosed having a modular housing 12, a multi-function module 14 for containing electronic or mechanical devices, a tool pod 16 having multiple tools 106 pivotally attached thereto, an accessory compartment 18 for removably containing, for example, a disposable lighter 32. Module 14 is preferably removable and is adapted contain an electronic or mechanical device, such as a mechanical compass 172, an electronic compass 215, or other electronic devices. Tool pod 16 includes a plurality of pivotally attached tools 106. A lanyard 34 may also be provided to tether module 14 to housing 12.
