    摘要： The method provided produces a bio-degradable foamed material with qualities of uniformity of mechanical and physical properties throughout the product including a foam thickness of up to one meter and a finished foam surface suitable for packaging applications. The parameters for producing such a product are selected from a range of variables which includes wall thickness, mold material, use of a susceptor and the type and composition of a susceptor, the number and arrangement of magnetrons and mold shape. Complex shapes produced by the process are also disclosed.

In some implementations, contextually aware monitoring can include monitoring of the supply chain tradelane with tracking devices including sensors for determining location, velocity, heading, vibration, acceleration (e.g., 3D acceleration), or any other sensor that can monitor the environment of the shipping container to provide contextual awareness. The contextual awareness can be enabled by geofencing and recursive algorithms, which allow dynamic modification of the tracking device behavior. Dynamic modification can reduce performance to save power (e.g., save battery usage) and lower costs. Dynamic modification can increase performance where it matters in the supply chain for improved reporting accuracy or frequency or recognition of supply chain events. Dynamic modification can adapt performance such as wireless communications to the region or location of the tracking device.

    摘要： A swab applicator for containing and dispensing cyanoacrylate adhesives is disclosed. The device comprises a tube applicator with a valve to contain the cyanoacrylate until use. The valve can be a ball, a bead or a capsule, or it can be an oblong object having a channel closed at one end. The device further comprises an absorbent material which is saturated by cyanoacrylate for application upon opening of the valve. The device can be heat sterilized using dry heat sterilization without rupturing prematurely from pressure generated during the sterilization process.
