摘要： A lick deterrent device to deter animals from biting or chewing. The deterrent device has a flexible substrate physically conformable in three directions with conductive traces thereon. The lick deterrent device is configured for electrical connection to a removable power source. The traces are configured so that they may be contacted by an animal's tongue or saliva, so that upon contact, an electrical circuit is completed thereby delivering a mild electric shock to the animal. The lick deterrent device may be stretchable in at least one direction.

摘要： A tape application apparatus is adapted for both left-handed and right-handed use when applying tape from a roll to a first surface. An edge of the first surface is common to an edge of an adjacent second surface. The tape application apparatus includes a housing and a tape hub attached to the housing that is capable of slidably receiving the roll. The housing has first and second exterior surfaces and first and second interior surfaces and is capable of receiving the roll. When the tape application apparatus is guided in a first direction, the roll is moveable to a first dispensing position against the first interior side surface, and when the tape application apparatus is guided in a second direction opposite the first direction, the roll is moveable to a second dispensing position against the second interior side surface.

The dispenser includes a first rotatable hub mounted on a dispenser frame that receives the roll of sheet material around its periphery. A first end of an elongate cut-off blade is attached to the frame so that a user of the dispenser can manually tension sheet material being pulled from the roll around a cutting edge on the blade to sequentially transversely sever the sheet material. A locating hub rotatably mounted on one end of a spacing arm is adapted to be received in the roll of sheet material from its end opposite the first hub. An end of the spacing arm opposite the locating hub is mounted on the cut-off blade to space the cutting edge a predetermined distance from the axis of the roll of sheet material at the second end of the roll of sheet material as the sheet material is sequentially transversely cut along the cutting edge on the blade.

摘要： A cut-off blade assembly including a thin metal blade having an attachment portion by which the cut-off blade assembly can be attached to a dispenser, and a plurality of projecting similarly shaped triangular primary teeth. The triangular primary teeth each have two sides terminating in points and have bases adjacent the attachment portion that are aligned in a first direction along the blade so that their points project generally at right angles to that first direction. Edge surfaces on the sides and at the points of the primary teeth intersect a major surface of the primary teeth at an included angle of no greater than about 90 degrees to define a cutting edge at that intersection. The cut-off blade assembly further includes projections along one major surface of the primary teeth. Those projections have distal ends positioned adjacent the points of the primary teeth, have sufficient thickness at the points in a direction normal to the major surfaces of the primary teeth to restrict inadvertent contact between a person and the cutting edge of the cutting blade, and are shaped and positioned to extend only along the primary teeth to afford easy cutting of sheet material pressed against the cutting edge of the primary teeth and free movement of the end of the sheet material being cut over the primary teeth. The primary teeth may intersect each other, or may be spaced apart and the blade may include recessed secondary teeth defining portions of the cutting edge therebetween.

摘要： A cleaning wiper adapted to automatically maintain a fresh cleaning surface upon each utilization. Supply and take-up holders are mounted in a body for holding rolls of a cleaning web. The cleaning web, intermediate the supply and take-up holders, passes over a support member movably mounted within and accessible through a slot in one side of the body. Utilization of the cleaning wiper causes the support member to be moved from its resiliently biased position within the slot and activates an advance linkage.
