摘要： A coating composition includes: (i) an epoxy-based binder; (ii) a curing agent; (iii) inorganic, spherical, filler particles; (iv) organic, spherical, filler particles; and intumescent components comprising: (v) an acid-generating agent; and (vi) an expansion agent. wherein said intumescent components expand the volume of a coating derived from said composition at least 5 times when contacted with heat from a fire.
