Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a matting agent including polymer particles, a matting polymer composition including a matting agent, and a method of producing polymer particles. The polymer particles may be produced by a simple process using a suspension polymerization method, and is relatively easy to control a degree of crosslinking. In addition, in a case where a matting polymer composition is prepared using a matting agent including the polymer particles, it is possible to manufacture a molded article having excellent appearance and matting effect without deterioration of the existing mechanical properties such as impact strength and tensile strength of a thermoplastic polymer, and in particular, an excellent matting effect may be exerted even in the extrusion processing, which has been difficult to achieve in the related art.

Abstract: A vehicle surface treatment composition includes a colloidal inorganic oxide dispersion or a soluble silicate amenable to application to both porous and semi-porous vehicle hard surfaces to provide a multi-surface protective barrier that imparts water repellency and weathering protection properties to the vehicle finish. The composition provides a hard surface cleaning and forms a coating to the applied surface. The compositions provide treated surface properties that include keeping clean, scratch/mar defense, bug repellency, UV protection, and weathering defense. The compositions create treated surfaces that are highly smooth and lubricious which provide enhanced protection, while achieving a high luster finish with a streak free appearance. The composition is readily applied through resort to a conventional trigger spray application, propellant aerosol, or a sponge or cloth for wipe application onto the vehicle surface.

Abstract: A method for a carbon nanofiber composite, which can obtain a carbon nanofiber composite with high productivity and high activity, and which does not require removal of fluidizing materials or dispersing materials, provides a carbon nanofiber composite having improved dispersibility. The carbon nanofiber composite includes carbon nanofibers and at least one particulate carbon material, wherein the particulate carbon material has 70% by volume or more of particles with a particle diameter of 1 μm or less, and/or a median diameter D50 by volume of 1 μm or less.

Abstract: A polymer plastic front plate comprises: a plastic substrate and a hard coating layer formed on an adhesion surface of the plastic substrate. The hard coating layer comprises: organic-inorganic hybrid UV oligomer, high Tg UV resin additive, a plurality of dispersed flaky nano inorganic material, and photo initiator, so as to form a gas barrier hard coating layer with high surface dyne value (>44 dyne) on the adhesion surface of the plastic substrate. It not only has good ink printability and OCA adhesiveness, but also inhibits the diffusion of fugitive gas from polymer plastic front plates during high-temperature, high-temperature and high-humidity, high-low temperature thermal shocks and other harsh automotive industry environmental tests. The gas can be avoided from entering the OCA layer, thereby solving the problems of bubbles and delamination after the environmental tests are performed.
