摘要: A computer system and method uses one or more virtual wish lists of one or more shoppers over a computer network. One process extracts information from online address books or other personal databases, and creates lists of recipients for whom a shopper wants to purchase products. A second process obtains virtual wish lists of recipients by observing their visits to online stores, and other online behavior. Recipients are asked for permission to make this data available to other shoppers, online stores, and other Web sites. Recipients can modify their virtual wish lists, and selectively approve of their use by other shoppers, etc. A third process creates shopping lists for the recipients, and generates lists of recommended products for shoppers to buy for intended recipients.

摘要: A system and method for configuring sell bids. The system and method use rules and inference engines in order to configure sell bids in view of Request for Quotes (RFQs). The system and method include a data aggregator that integrates data from two or more enterprise data sources into an aggregated enterprise database and a knowledge base database. A bid configurator constructs one or more sell bid candidates for one or more target RFQs by using at least one inference engine and the extracted facts and rules from the knowledge database.

摘要: Enforcing data sharing policy through shared data management, in one aspect, may include extracting data access rights from the one or more data policies based on a user role, data purpose, an object set and a constraint identification; extracting a data domain from the one or more data policies based on the data purpose and the object set; associating the data access rights and the data domain with data attributes of the shared data; automatically responding to application-based offers and requests for the shared data within a Software-as-a-Service platform based on the data access rights.

摘要: Identifying one or more source units for one or more food items may include assigning a sequence of numbers to a plurality of source units received at a processing entity and assigning a sequence of numbers to a plurality of end product units processed from the plurality of source units at the processing entity. A production rate associated with the end product units may be determined from a bill of materials associated with the end product units. A probability distribution function may be generated using at least the production rate. The probability distribution function maps a range of the sequence numbers associated with the plurality of source units to a range of sequence numbers associated with the end product units. A conversion algorithm may be generated that uses the probability distribution function to determine a source unit associated with a selected end product unit.

摘要: Shared data management in software-as-a-service platform may provide a common object data schema for one or more data objects and one or more data attributes associated with said one or more data objects stored in a master database. A plurality of applications may be enabled to be deployed dynamically on a platform and interoperate by sharing said data values stored in the master database. Data trading is enabled in which applications request permissions to read from or write to, or both, the master database, and in which the requests are mediated by granting or denying permissions.

摘要: A method and system for generating bill payment schedule utilizes a composite pricing module to generate payment schedule over a predetermined period of time. In one aspect, a fraction of each pricing model attributing to the composite pricing model is determined. A charge fee associated with said each pricing model based on said fraction and said total price to charge is determined. Price to charge during each time unit of the time period is allocated, based on budget over the time period, discount rate, target profit margin and risk affordance. Bill schedule is generated using the allocated price.
