    摘要: A dual beam electronically scanned phased array antenna architecture is provided. The architecture includes a plurality of antenna modules substantially orthogonally connected to a signal distribution board. Each module includes a radiator board substantially orthogonally connected to a first end of a support mandrel. Each radiator board includes a plurality of radio frequency (RF) radiating elements. Each module additionally includes pair of chip carriers mounted to opposing sides of the respective mandrel and interconnected to the respective radiator board. Furthermore, each module includes signal transfer board formed to fit around a second end of the mandrel such that the signal transfer board is compressed between the mandrel the signal distribution board. Each module further includes a pair of signal distribution bridges mounted to the opposing sides of the mandrel. Each signal distribution bridge interconnects the respective chip carriers with the signal transfer board and distributes digital, DC and/or RF signals received from the signal transfer board to a plurality of beam scanning circuits included in the respective chip carrier. The orthogonal relationship between the RF radiating elements and the beam scanning circuits allow the modules to be connected to the signal distribution board in close proximity to each other such that the RF radiating elements of adjacent modules have a spacing of one-half wavelength or less. Therefore, a high frequency, dual beam electronically scanned phased array antenna can be constructed that is capable of having scanning angles of 60° or greater. Therefore, a high frequency, dual beam electronically scanned phased array antenna can be constructed that is capable of having very wide scanning angles of without introducing grating lobes.

    摘要: A phased array antenna module for use in the gigahertz bandwidth. The module includes a metallic core with a pair of chip carrier assemblies secured to opposite sides of the core. The core has an internal waveguide with a signal splitter for directing electromagnetic wave energy evenly to the two chip carrier assemblies. A flexible, cylindrical connector assembly electrically couples the chip carrier assemblies to an aperture board. The aperture board includes a plurality of dipole antenna radiating elements. The module core is coupled directly to a cold plate. A direct thermal path is created between the chip carrier assemblies, the module core and the cold plate for highly efficient cooling of the electronic components on the chip carrier assemblies.

By setting two common electrode voltages, TFT-LCD and its driving method provided by the invention can make dynamic range of input voltage required for driving liquid crystal display device be smaller than dynamic range of driving voltage of liquid crystal driving voltage-transmittance curve, thus reducing power consumption during driving the liquid crystal.

The processor is configured to determine a hit time for each of a plurality of content items based on at least one of users' history of access to the content items on content distribution clusters in a content distribution network, the users' past ratings of the content items, and social network information associated with the users. The hit time of a content item indicates a number of times that the content item is likely to be accessed by the users. The processor is further configured to compute caching priorities of the content items based on a caching policy of the device and the determined hit times, and initiate a redistribution, over a network, of the plurality of content items over the content distribution clusters of the content distribution network based on the caching priorities.

    摘要: The present invention relates to device for driving liquid crystal display (LCD) and method for driving the same. The device for driving LCD comprises a voltage input module for receiving Gamma reference voltage; a voltage generation module connected to said voltage input module, for generating pixel driving voltage of a corresponding color with one resistor-chain, according to the Gamma reference voltage and the color of pixel being driven; and a voltage output module connected to said voltage generation module, for transmitting the pixel driving voltage of said corresponding color to a liquid crystal panel. According to an embodiment of the present invention, voltage generation units that respectively generate pixel driving voltage of three colors are set on one resistor-chain, and a corresponding voltage generation unit is selected by a multi-selector according to the color of pixel being driven, so that the corresponding voltage generation unit transmits the pixel driving voltage to the voltage output module. According to an embodiment of the present invention, color shifting phenomenon is effectively overcome, thus improving TFT-LCD's picture quality.
