Also an organic light emitting device including at least a pair of electrodes formed of an anode and a cathode, and a layer formed of an organic compound, the layer being interposed between the pair of electrodes, in which the layer formed of an organic compound contains a compound represented by the following structural formula. An organic light emitting device in which the layer is a light emitting layer.
