摘要： A data recording and reproducing apparatus (11) which generates a plurality of divided data through dividing input data D1 using a distributor (22) if recording data, while generating redundancy-code data P1 and P2 using Read-Solomon-code data which can perform error-correcting on a plurality of divided data, and records the divided data and the redundancy-code data P1, P2 on HDDs 211 to 21K, 281 and 28Z. 摘要： A data recording/reproducing apparatus comprises a data recording/reproducing component for recording data including audio and/or video data in and reproducing such data from a plurality of non-linearly accessible recording medium, a plurality of input/output processing sections for processing the input data and outputting them to the recording/reproducing component, while processing the data output from the recording/reproducing component and outputting them, a controller for controlling the input/output processing sections so as to make them carry out the processing operations in the allocated respective time slots and outputting time slot signals with a fixed cycle period to the respective input/output processing sections, the controller being so adapted that, when there is an idle input/output processing section out of the plurality of input/output processing sections, it outputs the time slot signals to be output to the idle input/output processing section to the remaining input/output processing section. With such an arrangement, more time slots are allocated to the busy input/output processing sections, which can therefore output an increased number of data sheets per unit time for a high speed data reproducing operation to improve the operability of the apparatus.

摘要： A data recording and reproducing apparatus capable of easily obtaining information which has few dropout and is necessary for variable speed reproduction at the time of variable speed reproduction. An image group dividing unit divides input image data into a plurality of image groups on a unit image basis, thereby forming plural divided data. After the formed divided data is temporarily stored into an image data temporary storing unit, the divided data is outputted as image data which is a data stream of the divided data in a predetermined image unit to a disk array apparatus via an HDD output interface unit. Each disk array apparatus records the divided data into HDDs so as to periodically change the relation between the HDDs and the groups of data to be recorded to the HDDs in a predetermined pattern.

摘要： This invention relates to an apparatus for storing and transmitting AV data. A receiving buffer unit for storing AV data temporarily, a transmitting buffer unit for storing temporarily the AV data to be transmitted, and a primary storage unit for storing AV data and a secondary storage units for storing AV data are connected to each other by means of a subnetwork. A server control unit for controlling the respective units is connected to the subnetwork. Since these units are connected by means of the subnetwork, any restriction is not given to spaces for installing the units. The capacities of the primary and secondary storage units and the transmitting buffer unit are selected so that they become larger in order of the secondary storage unit, the primary storage unit and the transmitting buffer unit. Thereby, the storage units and the transmitting buffer unit are controlled in a hierarchical form. This makes it possible to construct an AV sever system having large capacity and good responsivity with good cost balance.
