    摘要: A transceiver system and method in an OFDM communication system which enables exact symbol synchronization acquisition and improves performance for frequency offset and channel estimation. In the apparatus, a guard interval filling unit copies data at a predetermined interval in an input data row inputted to be transmitted, and fills in the copied data in the preset guard interval in the input data row. A selection unit selectively receives an output data row outputted from the guard interval filling means and unique words having a constant amplitude and a non-periodic auto-correlation characteristic, and outputs the OFDM symbol in which the unique words are inserted in the output data row.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method for transmitting a reference signal for identification of each cell in a communication system including a plurality of cells each of which is identified by a cell identifier. The method includes receiving a cell identifier, and generating a block code corresponding to the cell identifier using a predetermined block code generator matrix, and generating a first part sequence using the block code; selecting a second part sequence in accordance with the cell identifier; generating a reference signal of a frequency domain using the first part sequence and the second part sequence; converting the reference signal of the frequency domain to a reference signal of a time domain through an Inverse Fast Fourier Transform operation and transmitting the reference signal of the time domain in a predetermined reference signal transmission interval.

    摘要: An apparatus for generating a preamble sequence in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication system using A subcarriers in a frequency domain. A preamble sequence generator generates a length−M+N+k preamble sequence, where M+N+k is less than A, by combining a length−N Golay complementary sequence with a length−M Golay complementary sequence. An inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) processor assigns elements constituting the preamble sequence to the M+N+k subcarriers among the A subcarriers on a one-to-one mapping basis, assigns null data to remaining subcarriers excluding the M+N+k subcarriers from the A subcarriers, and then IFFT-transforms the assigned result into time-domain data.

A mapper generates symbol vectors by recombining the real and imaginary parts of the pre-coded symbol sequence in an interleaving scheme. A plurality of Alamouti coders encodes the symbol vectors in an Alamouti scheme and transmits the encoded symbol vectors through corresponding transmit antennas.
