The carrier frequency recovering apparatus can recover carrier frequency based on phase shift caused by a frequency offset to thereby perform demodulation without deterioration, no matter how large the frequency offset is, and minimize structural complexity, although a frequency offset tolerance range is higher than a symbol rate and a method thereof. The carrier frequency recovering apparatus includes a phase shift estimation part for estimating a phase shift value caused by a frequency offset based on a received preamble signal; a compensation part for compensating a receiving signal based on the estimated phase shift value obtained in the phase shift estimation part prior to differential decoding; and a detection part for detecting the compensated signal obtained in the compensation part.

    摘要: Provided is a method for switching a piconet device to a coordinator in a piconet. The method receives the latest order of precedence as the next PNC information from the current PNC. Thereafter, the method detects a P-CTA allocated to devices of the piconet using a beacon of a superframe received from the PNC. On failing to receive a beacon from the PNC, the method detects whether “beacon non-receipt” indicating information that is transmitted between piconet devices during the detected P-CTA. If the “beacon non-receipt” indicating information is not detected, the method does not perform a PNC appropriation operation. If the “beacon non-receipt” indicating information is detected, the method determines that the PNC has left the piconet without performing a normal PNC handover procedure and thus performs a PNC appropriation operation according to the order of precedence information.

    摘要: Disclosed is an uplink random access procedure in an NB-TDD (Narrow Band Time Division Duplexing) system. To achieve an acknowledgement for data transmission from a UTRAN (UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network), a UE selects one of a plurality of sync codes by which the UTRAN identifies UEs that request data transmission and transmits the selected sync code in a time slot of a sub-frame to the UTRAN. Then, the UE receives the sync code information, information about the arrival time of the sync code, time update information indicating a variation in the transmission time of data, and power information indicating an adjustment to a power gain in the UE from the UTRAN on an FPACH (Fast Physical Access Channel). The UE transmits the data on a P-RACH (Physical Random Access Channel) mapped from the FPACH according to the time update information and the power information.
