摘要： A disclosed coaxial connector can be surface-mounted on a circuit board without degradation in signal transmission characteristics. The coaxial connector includes a center conductor, a surrounding conductor by which the center conductor is surrounded, and an insulating housing. The center conductor has a leg portion at its base end. The surrounding conductor has six lugs at its base end that extend radially. The leg portion and the lugs are exposed on a bottom surface of the housing. The coaxial connector is mounted on the circuit board with the leg portion pressed against a signal pad on the circuit board for electrical connection and the lugs pressed against a ground pad for electrical connection.

摘要： A connector includes multiple pairs of signal contacts arranged in a housing, and facilitates the wiring design and the wiring operation for substrates. The two signal contacts in each of the multiple pairs are arranged at a distance in the longitudinal direction of the housing. With this arrangement, excellent coupling can be established between the two signal contacts, and signals can be balanced-transmitted without causing a phase difference. Also, the lengths of each pair of wires of a wiring substrate to be connected to the multiple pairs of signal contacts can be easily made uniform. Accordingly, there is no need to prepare excessive wiring areas, and the substrate wiring design and the wiring operation can be simplified.

摘要： A connector for differential transmission is disclosed. The connector includes a housing made of an insulating material, the housing including a connector connection opening on its top face, multiple signal contact pairs each including first and second signal contact members, the signal contact members each including a signal terminal part, and multiple ground contact members each including ground terminal parts. The signal contact pairs and the ground contact members are disposed alternately in the housing so that the signal terminal parts of the first and second signal contact members of the signal contact pairs and the ground terminal parts of the ground contact members are provided on the side of the bottom face of the housing. The signal terminal parts of the first and second signal contact members extend in the same direction in each signal contact pair.

摘要： A connector which connects an IC card to a corresponding information input/output unit without cable and can be removed as needed has a structure in which a plurality of U-shaped conductive pieces formed of a sheet metal are fixed to a rectangular-rod-like insulating block. Each conductive piece has a central portion fixed to a corresponding notched portion formed in a side surface of the insulating block, a first contact portion extending from the central portion in one direction and bent at an almost right angle along the lower surface of the insulating block, and a second contact portion extending from the central portion in an opposite direction, held to be elastically deformed in a groove formed in the upper surface of the insulating block, and including an end portion projecting from the upper surface. As an embodiment, the following structure is disclosed. A pair of projection portions are formed on both the sides of the central portion of the conductive piece, the projection portions are bent so as to form a U shape having a bottom as the central portion, and the bent projection portions are fitted in the respective holes formed in the corresponding notched portion of the insulating block, so as to fix each conductive piece to the insulating block.
