摘要: There are growing needs to efficiently programs desired to be viewed from among contents spreading to a channel direction and a time axis direction. However, GUI having a hierarchical structure and requiring numerous button operations require users to perform several complicated operations to view desired image contents. The present invention displays plural programs on one screen to make it easy for users to find programs desired to be viewed from among plural programs. The present invention has a means for controlling time information of reproduced images, and displays recorded images when a control time is older than a current time, program information guide (EPG) when the control time is later than the current time, and programs being broadcast when the control time is the current time.

摘要: As the number of contents which a user can access (TV programs, images stored on HDD or Internet news) is increasing, the contents a viewer wishes to view is becoming increasingly diverse, and consequently the question of how to view these contents efficiently is now a major problem. In other words, this huge volume of broadcast content also contains information which the user does not require, and it is difficult to efficiently acquire only the required information without any error. To resolve this problem, there are therefore provided an information reading apparatus comprising a receiving means which receives first and second broadcast signals, an information reading means which displays and reads the first broadcast signal received by the receiving means as first image information, a storage means which stores the second image information contained in the second broadcast signal, and an extraction means which extracts a part of the second image information stored by the storage means, wherein the information display means displays a part of the image in the second image information extracted by the extraction means superimposed on the image of the first image information, and reads it.

摘要: The prior art in this field had a display portion of electronic paper at a part of a shelf and showed a problem that the display portion and the goods were hardly co-related to each other in response to the arrangement of the goods. In view of the foregoing, plural images arranged in response to the number of stages of the shelves to be displayed are irradiated with a light source after each of the images is corrected in correspondence with the optical path length ranging from the light source to the end of each of the shelves, each of the images is guided to the end of each of the shelves by plural reflector members and then the images are displayed at the ends. In addition, each of the images is guided to the end of each of the shelves by plural reflector members and the images are displayed at the ends after plural images (either still images or animations) arranged in response to the number of stages of shelves to be displayed are irradiated by the light source and the optical path lengths ranging from the light source to the end of each of the shelves are set to be substantially the same to each other.

摘要: The prior art in this field had a display portion of electronic paper at a part of a shelf and showed a problem that the display portion and the goods were hardly co-related to each other in response to an arrangement of the goods. In addition, it was necessary to prepare a special display substrate for changing all the shelf lengths into a display portion and its price was expensive. It was necessary to provide a signal line and a wiring for power supply up to the display portion and so it was necessary to perform a wiring at the shelf surface with opaque raw material or perform a connecting work for the wiring every time when the shelf was transferred. In view of the foregoing, plural images (either still images or animations) arranged in response to the number of stages of the shelves to be displayed are irradiated with a light source after each of the images is corrected in correspondence with the optical path length ranging from the light source to the end of each of the shelves, each of the images is guided to the end of each of the shelves by plural reflector members and then the images are displayed at the ends. 摘要: An in-vehicle apparatus (such as a car navigation system or a car audio) equipped with multiple detectors mounted around the operation portion to make it possible to detect from which direction a hand has approached the operation portion. The fields of view and the positions of the detectors are so determined that the detectors have no dead angle. If the positional relationship between passengers in the vehicle is previously known, it can be discerned from the detected direction as to whether the operator is the driver or a fellow passenger. At the same time, the multiple detectors arranged around the operation portion can also be used as detectors for simple operations utilizing hand waving that can be performed by the driver during driving.

摘要: The conventional mirror shows only a reflected image. For example, a user who looks at the same mirror at a face-washing place at home every day can see only the similar reflected image. The present invention provides an information displaying device capable of displaying information which can be displayed by the primary function and information which can be displayed by another function on the same display unit. The information displaying device includes a projector for projecting video, a display unit for displaying the video, and a diffusion layer attached to the display unit for diffusing the light projected from the projector. The display unit displays not only a reflected image on the front side of display surface but also video and characters projected by the projector from the rear side of the display unit.

摘要: A surgical instrument comprising a tip end joint part having an openable and closeable gripper, an operating part including a hand grip and a plurality of operating dials, and an arm part that accommodates a wire for cooperation of actions of the operating part and the tip end joint part. A first operating dial is arranged above the hand grip and on an upper inclined surface of the operating part, second and third operating dials are arranged above the hand grip and on a front surface of the operating part, the first operating dial is operated by a thumb and the second operating dial is operated by a forefinger whereby the tip end joint part is operated vertically and operated laterally to perform a swinging action, and the third operating dial is operated by a forefinger whereby the tip end gripper is operated to open and close.
