    摘要: A data communication apparatus to receive data for which continuity is ensured, without receiving the same data repeatedly. In the data communication apparatus, when a bus reset arises, and a reconnection request is received from a computer that informed the Command Block Agent ORB, whose execution was interrupted by that bus reset, the job execution part specifies print data that has not been obtained out of the print data of the storage area described in the ORB. The print data that has not been obtained is based on the number of Read Block Requests or Read Block Response, counted by the execution status monitoring part. Then, the job execution part makes a packet for print data generating part generate a Read Block Request to read only the print data that has not been obtained from the computer, and sends it to the computer.

    摘要: An image output device of the invention includes an XHTML analyzer module 22 that analyzes each input XHTML file and generates RGB data, a conversion unit 30 that converts the RGB data into CMYK print data, and a print execution module 34 that transfers the print data to a print head to execute printing. The image output device receives input of an object image from any of a digital television set 50, a digital camera 52, and a personal computer 54 and acquires data representing the format of the input object image. The image output device identifies the format of the input object image based on the acquired data and assigns an adequate one for the identified format among the XHTML analyzer module 22, the conversion unit 30, and the print execution module 34 to process the input object image. This arrangement assigns the processing of the input object image, based on the identified format (type) of the input object image, and thus enables the input object image to be processed efficiently for printing.

    摘要: The technique of the invention sets a first image plane 70 having an information volume per pixel set to 4 bytes and a second image plane 72 having the information volume per pixel set to 1 byte. The area of each image plane is set to a printing area. Full color images are drawn on the first image plane 70, whereas characters and simple illustrations are drawn on the second image plane 72. The technique combines the first image plane 70 with the second image place 72 to a composite image plane, further lays an operation image plane 74, which has the information volume per pixel set to 4 bits and is used to display information required for a device operation, upon the composite image plane to a composite display window 76. RGB data is output to display the composite display window 76 on a monitor. The contents of the first image plane 70 and the second image plane 72 are described in a script. The technique of the invention analyzes the script and prints generated images based on the results of the analysis.
