摘要: A motor-driven compressor includes a compression mechanism, an electric motor, an inverter, a housing, and a cover defining an accommodation chamber with the housing to accommodate the inverter. The cover includes a plate-shaped body wall and insertion holes extending through a periphery of the body wall. The body wall includes a first surface opposed to the inverter in the accommodation chamber, a second surface, a first thickness portion having a first thickness, and a second thickness portion located around at least one of the insertion holes. The second thickness portion has a second thickness that is smaller than the first thickness and is obtained by recessing the body wall from the first surface toward the second surface.

摘要: A scroll compressor is provided. An orbiting angle of the orbiting scroll when the compression chamber is formed and compression of fluid is initiated is referred to as an orbiting initiation angle. An orbiting angle of the orbiting scroll when the compression of the fluid is completed is referred to as an orbiting termination angle. An orbiting angle of the orbiting scroll when an end of the orbiting spiral wall initiates contact with the arcuate portion of the fixed spiral wall before compression is completed is referred to as a distal end contact initiation angle. The formation point distance reaches a minimum value at least at one of a first orbiting angle or a second orbiting angle.

摘要: There is provided an electric compressor to be fixed an object including a compression mechanism, an electric motor, a housing, a supporting member, and a plurality of vibration damping members. One of the housing and the supporting member has a recess and the other of the housing and the supporting member has a projection that is disposed in the recess and engaged with the recess to form a plurality of accommodating spaces on opposite sides of the projection, respectively. A filling rate of each vibration damping member in the corresponding accommodating space is changeable. There is also provided a method for manufacturing the electric compressor, including preparing a plurality of vibration damping members, choosing one of the vibration damping members, and providing the supporting member to the outer peripheral surface of the housing while accommodating the chosen vibration damping members in the respective accommodating spaces.

One of the housing and the support has a projection and the other of the housing and the support has a recess that is engaged with the projection through a vibration damper so that the support supports the housing.
