Abstract: A cell treatment apparatus capable of treating cells in a cell culture vessel. The cell treatment apparatus (100) according to the present invention includes a first region (1), a second region (3), and a third region (5). The first region (1) and the second region (3) are placed in succession. The first region (1) is a cell treatment chamber for treating cells. The cell treatment chamber can be closed from the outside of the cell treatment chamber and includes a culture vessel placement portion for placing a cell culture vessel. The second region (3) includes a laser irradiation device capable of irradiating the cell culture vessel placed in the culture vessel placement portion with a laser. The third region (5) includes a control device that controls at least one device in the cell treatment apparatus (100) and a power supply device (52) that supplies electric power to at least one device in the cell treatment apparatus (100). The culture vessel placement portion is placed to be adjacent to the second region (3) in the cell treatment chamber. An adjacent portion to the second region (3) in the culture vessel placement portion is translucent.

Abstract: In order to perform a process of emitting a laser beam toward a cell culture vessel while maintaining the atmosphere around the cell culture vessel in a desired condition, a culture vessel housing apparatus 1 is configured to include surrounding walls 312 and 322 that surround an internal space 10 in which a cell culture vessel 9 is to be housed, a transparent top panel 4 that closes an upper part of the internal space 10 surrounded by the surrounding walls 312 and 322, a heater 5 that is provided at the top panel 4 to keep the internal space 10 warm, and a transparent bottom panel 6 that closes a lower part of the internal space 10 surrounded by the surrounding walls 312 and 322 and allows a laser beam emitted toward the cell culture vessel 9 housed in the internal space 10 to pass through.

Abstract: The present invention provides a cell treatment apparatus that can improve the operating rates of an observation unit and a laser irradiation unit in the case of treating a plurality of cell culture vessels. The cell treatment apparatus of the present invention includes: a cell treatment chamber in which cells in a cell culture vessel are treated; an observation unit that can observe the cells in the cell culture vessel; a laser irradiation unit that can irradiate the cells with lasers; a first moving unit that can move the observation unit; and a second moving unit that can move the laser irradiation unit, wherein the cell treatment chamber includes a plurality of regions in which the cells can be treated, each region includes a first cell culture vessel placement unit and a second cell culture vessel placement unit, in the first cell culture vessel placement unit, the cells in the cell culture vessel are observed by the observation unit, in the second cell culture vessel placement unit, the cells in the cell culture vessel are irradiated with lasers by the laser irradiation unit, the observation unit is moved by the first moving unit in a state of being able to observe the cells in the cell culture vessel in the first cell culture vessel placement unit of each region, and the laser irradiation unit is moved by the second moving unit in a state of being able to irradiate the cells in the cell culture vessel in the second cell culture vessel placement unit of each region with lasers.
