    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming device, a trim mark adder, a duplex alignment mark adder and a hardware processor. The image forming device is capable of forming an image on both sides of a sheet based on an image data. The trim mark adder adds trim mark information to the image data so that a trim mark is formed at a trimming position of the sheet. The duplex alignment mark adder adds duplex alignment mark information to the image data so that a duplex alignment mark is formed in a margin area between an edge of the sheet and the trimming position on both sides of the sheet. The hardware processor performs a duplex alignment of the image data based on a result of scanning the duplex alignment mark.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, an image reading unit, an image inspecting unit and a history generating unit. The image forming unit forms an image on a sheet. The image reading unit reads a sheet face on which the image is formed, thereby generating a scan image. The image inspecting unit compares the generated scan image with a normal image to detect an error in the scan image. When the image inspecting unit detects the error, the history generating unit generates detection information on the detected error and embeds the generated detection information in the scan image, thereby generating a history image.

    摘要: There is provided an inspection apparatus that inspects a printed material for a smudge, in accordance with an inspection image formed by reading a printed material, a print image being formed on the printed material, the inspection apparatus including: a hardware processor that: performs position adjustment between a reference image serving as an inspection standard for the print image, and the inspection image; detects a region presumed to be a smudge on the printed material as a smudge candidate region, in accordance with a difference image generated from the reference image and the inspection image after the position adjustment; and determines whether the smudge candidate region is a false smudge candidate region resulting from a positional shift of an object in the print image, in accordance with the smudge candidate region detected by the hardware processor and difference data characteristics of the difference image.
