    Abstract: An image reading apparatus includes a light source, a light receiving unit, and an optical system. The light receiving unit includes a plurality of light receiving elements. The optical system includes a plurality of optical components for splitting the light reflected from the object to be read, and guiding the split light to each of the plurality of light receiving elements. The plurality of optical components include a splitting component that splits the light reflected from the object to be read in a direction corresponding to a main direction, and a common component provided with a common portion. The common portion has an optically acting area causing a common effect on the tight split by the splitting component. A cross sectional shape of the optically acting area orthogonal to a direction corresponding to the main direction is the same shape along the direction corresponding to the main direction.

    Abstract: A component supply device includes a hopper, a conveyance robot, a pick-up stand, and a discharge stand. A temporary placement position at which the component is temporarily placed on the tray is disposed on a straight line connecting a supply position at which the component is supplied to the conveyance robot in the hopper and a hand-over position at which the component is delivered from the conveyance robot on the discharge stand. The discharge stand includes a posture changer that changes a posture of the component conveyed by the conveyance robot.

    Abstract: An image reading device of the present invention includes a reading unit in which a lighting system and an optical system are mounted, a controller provided at a position where the controller does not transfer along with the reading unit, and a flexible flat cable that includes a curved portion and connects the reading unit with the controller. The lighting system includes an elongated light conductor extended in the main scanning direction and an end portion light source arranged at the end portion of the light conductor. The flexible flat cable is arranged on the outside of the optical system and on the lower side of the light conductor.

    Abstract: A movable object holding system for holding a movable object including a body portion 11 and a protruding portion protruding from the body portion, comprising a hand part 40 holding a movable object, the hand part 40 comprising plural guide portions limiting movement of the movable object in a first axis direction and a second axis direction that are perpendicular to each other and a pair of positioning portions 43e limiting movement of the movable object in a third axis direction that is perpendicular to the first and second axis directions, wherein the hand part 40 holds the movable object with the protruding portion of the movable object disposed in a space surrounded by the plural guide portions and touching the pair of the positioning portions 43e and with a part of the body portion of the movable object exposed out of the hand part 40.

    Abstract: An image reading device which reads an image to obtain an image signal includes: a scanning unit; a chassis member; a control unit provided in a position which does not move together with the scanning unit; and a flexible flat cable which connects the scanning unit to the control unit, includes one end attached to a side of the chassis member and a position other than the one end fixed to a position which does not move with the scanning unit, includes a range closer to the one end than the fixed position parallel to a moving direction of the scanning unit, and is arranged to extend from the one end to one side, be bent into a U-shape, enter between the scanning unit and the chassis member, and reach the fixed position, and the flexible flat cable includes a transmitting layer, a shielding layer, and a stress adjusting layer.
