Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores instructions readable and executable by a workstation (20) including at least one electronic processor (22) to perform a method (100) for generating medical imaging device upgrade recommendations from utilization data. The method includes: retrieving, from at least one database (14), 5 utilization data (30) from logs of a plurality of installed medical imaging devices (16); applying a set of rules (29) to the utilization data to identify one or more upgrade recommendations wherein each upgrade recommendation comprises: an identification of one or more of the installed medical imaging devices or components of the installed medical imaging devices recommended to be upgraded or replaced; and at least one of a 10 replacement medical imaging device or component or a new medical imaging device or component for each of the installed medical imaging devices or components recommended to be upgraded or replaced; and displaying, on a display device (26), a list (38) of the at least one identified replacement or new medical imaging device or component.

Abstract: A system and methods for automatically commissioning electrical fixtures using sound are disclosed. Electrical fixtures (140-149) detect sounds produced by a sound generator moved along a path (300) through installed fixtures according to a building plan (100). Each electrical fixture may be associated with a mapped fixture location in the building plan by correlating the detected sound with the location of the sound generator along the path.

Abstract: A dental apparatus is provided. The dental apparatus includes a handle including a power button configured to place the dental apparatus in on/off configurations. A controller is housed within the handle and includes a mouth detection module and a tooth anomaly module. Electrical circuitry is in operable communication with the mouth detection module and tooth anomaly module and is configured to emit a low intensity excitation light having a first frequency and a high intensity excitation light which may have a second frequency. The low intensity excitation light is utilized to detect the presence of tooth material and the high intensity excitation light is utilized to detect the presence of a tooth anomaly or to treat a dental condition.
