Abstract: A system (100) for ultrasound (US) medical imaging is disclosed. The system (100) includes an ultrasound imaging device (110); and a memory (130) adapted to store: a trained predictive model comprising instructions; prior imaging data for a patient (105), or prior non-imaging data for the patient (105), or both; segmented relevant structures from the prior imaging data; and extracted quantitative parameters of the patient (105) from the segmented relevant structures. The system (100) comprises a controller (120). The instructions, when executed by the controller (120), cause the controller (120), based on the quantitative parameters, to determine whether or not to apply a contrast agent to the patient (105). A method (300) and a tangible, non-transitory computer readable medium that stores the instructions are also described.

Abstract: Augmented reality (AR) servicing guidance uses a mobile device (30, 90) with a display and a camera. Abstract: The invention relates to a system and a method for active grating position tracking in X-ray differential phase contrast imaging and dark-field imaging. The alignment of at least one grating positioned in an X-ray imaging device is measured by illuminating a reflection area located on the grating with a light beam, and detecting a reflection pattern of the light beam reflected by the reflection area. The reflection pattern is compared with a reference pattern corresponding to an alignment optimized for X-ray differential phase contrast imaging, and the X-ray imaging device is controlled upon the comparison of the reflection pattern and the reference pattern.

Abstract: A system for medical imaging is disclosed. The system includes an ultrasound (US) probe connected by a US cable having a sensor along its length. The sensor is adapted to gather measurement data from the US cable. The system also has a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: input the measurement data to a trained computational model; and apply the trained computational model to the measurement data to predict cable integrity of the US cable based on ground truth data, or to forecast a remaining useful life (RUL) of the US cable using ground truth data, or both. A sensor including a flexible textile-like substrate is also described. The sensor is embedded in the substrate and along a length of the US cable.
