Abstract: The present invention relates to a reduction device using a liquid metal, which can improve the oxidation reaction of a reducing agent for reducing a material to be reduced using a liquid metal, while simultaneously effectively controlling the same. The reduction device according to the present invention comprises: a storage unit in which the liquid metal is supplied and stored; a reducing agent positioned in the storage unit; a reduction unit positioned on a side of the storage unit, which receives a material to be reduced and enables fluid communication with the storage unit; and a liquid metal storage unit. According to the present invention, a reducing agent, which has strong reducing ability, is sublimated using a liquid metal, thereby further improving the reduction capability, and the same is also controlled precisely, thereby removing restrictions on use resulting from the explosive reaction of the reducing agent, and guaranteeing efficient operation.

Abstract: The boiler using a liquid metal as a working medium according to the present invention is comprises: a combustion furnace, in which the working medium is supplied and heated; a heat exchange part, which is connected to the combustion furnace and to which the working medium heated in the combustion furnace is supplied; a heat medium injection part, which is positioned in the heat exchange part; and a supply part, which is connected to the heat exchange part and supplies the heat medium to the heat medium injection part. In the heat exchange part, the heat exchange between the heat medium supplied to the heat medium injection part and the heated working medium is performed. The heat medium reaches high temperature and high pressure states at a threshold point or higher by means of the heat exchange. In addition, the working medium is a liquid metal.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a fluid sand falling type circulating fluidized bed boiler with a plurality of risers for preventing erosion and corrosion of water tubes and increasing combustion efficiency, and a method of operating the same. The fluid sand falling type circulating fluidized bed boiler with a plurality of risers includes a boiler section into which fuel and oxidizer are injected, a riser section connected to the boiler section so that the fuel and fluid sand supplied from the boiler section are introduced from the bottom of the riser section and flow up, and a relay section provided on the boiler section to supply the fluid sand having passed through the riser section to the boiler section, wherein the fuel is injected from the top of the boiler section and burned while flowing down therein.

Abstract: A pure oxygen direct combustion system using a liquid metal according to the present invention comprises: a reactor for receiving a liquid metal; a heat exchanger, connected to the bottom of the reactor, for exchanging heat for the liquid metal; a circulation pump, connected to the heat exchanger, for circulating the incoming liquid metal; a nozzle, connected to the circulation pump and disposed on the reactor; a reduction unit, connected to the circulation pump, for performing a reduction for the oxidized liquid metal; and a separation unit, connected to the reactor and the reduction unit, wherein the particles of the liquid metal injected from the nozzle are subjected to sensible heat from the gas generated from the reactor, heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger and regenerated by the reduction unit, and then supplied back to the reactor.
