    Abstract: A perimeter 2 capable of acquiring, as a threshold SV, a value corresponding to a response result of a subject 22 to an optotype presented with various brightness, for measurement points set across an entire measurement field of view of the ocular fundus, displaying the threshold SV as a threshold inspection result SHR and storing the same in a memory 13, comprises: a portion 15 for obtaining a pattern deviation PDV of the threshold SV relating to each measurement point RG, from the threshold inspection result SHR; a portion for 15 for obtaining a P value representing the obtained pattern deviation PDV for each measurement point RG as a probability variable, and generating a probability map image MAP4 indicating the measurement points RG separately for each P value; a portion 16 for selecting, from an abnormal measurement point group RG of points in the probability map image MAP4 in which at least a prescribed number of measurement points having a P value at most equal to 5% are continuous, and, of those, for which at least a prescribed number of points have a P value at most equal to 1%, measurement points to be used as subsequent measurement points, until ten points have been reached; and a memory 13 for storing the selected subsequent measurement points, wherein the selection of the subsequent measurement points is controlled in such a way that the measurement points RG are selected from the abnormal measurement point group in order of those having a good pattern deviation PDV.

    Abstract: In a perimetry to be conducted, designating an inspection region through a region designator, a perimeter is configured to set a required time of the perimetry (upper limit time) through an upper limit condition setter and to determine total number or positions of stimulus presentation spots based upon the upper limit time. In such a configuration, an examinee knows the time to finish the inspection, and is able to highly keep his (her) concentration in comparison with a case where the required time is not known, thereby improving precision of the inspection.

    Abstract: Through the present invention, a perimetry result is obtained for a position on a retina surface designated as a position to be tested. As illustrated in the drawing, “the position of a ganglion cell (RGC)” and “the position of a photoreceptor cell (C) for sending information to the ganglion cell (RGC)” are offset on the retina surface (macular part). Here, when position (P1) is designated as a test position for testing the functioning of a ganglion cell at position (P1), the perimeter of the present invention finds “the position (P2) of the photoreceptor cell for sending information to the ganglion cell at position (P1),” presents a visual target at position (P2) rather than position (P1), and tests a visual field. The information of the visual target is sent to the ganglion cell at position (P1), and the functioning of the ganglion cell can therefore be tested. The test result is correlated with the position (P1) and displayed, and the ganglion cell at the designated position (P1) can be therefore be tested.

    Abstract: In a perimetry to be conducted, designating an inspection region through a region designator, stimuli are presented to regions separated in an up/down direction, an oblique direction and a right/left direction from the inspection region (“the spaced region”) in addition to the designated inspection region. At the result, examinees are not able to predict to which of both regions, the inspection region and the spaced region the stimuli are presented, thereby obtaining correct inspection results that do not receive a prediction of the examinees.
