    摘要: A multiple vertical diaphragm type electrolytic cell which is fitted with a plurality of gas-bubble guiding partition plates and/or in a style of up-and-down stages to the confront surfaces of electrodes and/or in every anode chamber and/or cathode chamber so as to form a perpendicular gas-bubble passageway at the vertical central plane position of said electrode chamber; wherein the gas-bubble guiding plates incline upwards toward the gas-bubble passageway.     摘要: In an alkali salt electrolysis operation by the mercury process wherein mercury recovered in a denuding tower is recirculated with wash water through a mercury return passageway to be returned to an electrolytic cell, a portion of the mercury is caused to constantly overflow together with washing water over a weir provided in the mercury return passageway and then to undergo auxiliary circulation to a mercury reservoir interposed between the denuding tower and a mercury pump. An alkali chloride electrolytic apparatus, in which a reservoir tank is provided between a denuding tower and a mercury pump and an auxiliary circulation passageway communicates between a mercury return passageway and an entrance of the reservoir tank.

    摘要: An electrolytic cell for producing caustic soda comprising a large number of unit cells installed compactly in a cathode tank in electrically parallel connection, each of said unit cells consisting of two anode plates interwelded by at least two electroconductive supporting rods which in turn are connected to outer bus bars, an iron mesh cathode frame lined with an asbestos diaphragm surrounding the anode plates at a prescribed narrow distance, a corrosion-resistance cap mounted on the iron mesh cathode frame and a bottom dish inserted thereinto. The outer upper side walls of the anode plates are supported by setscrews to prevent the upper part of the anode plates from rocking.
