    Abstract: An abnormality detection device for an image forming apparatus detects an abnormality in the image forming apparatus which includes a heating belt looped around a heating roller and a fixing roller.     Abstract: An operation device has a resistive-film touch panel, a human detector, a vibrator, and a displacement adjustor. The human detector detects human presence near the device by using a human sensor. The vibrator vibrates a piezoelectric element previously provided at an edge of the touch panel when human presence is detected near the device, to set a predetermined point on the touch panel to which the resulting vibration conducts as a virtual touch point.
