Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier, a developing part, a storing part and an adjusting part. The image carrier includes a surface. An electrostatic latent image formed on the surface is developed by a toner, thereby forming a toner image on the surface. The developing part contains the toner supplied from a toner cartridge and supplies the toner to the image carrier. The storing part stores information relating to a replacement rate when a first toner in the developing part is replaced by a second toner, in a case where kinds of the first toner contained in the developing part and the second toner being supplied from the toner cartridge are different. The adjusting part adjusts density of the toner image on the basis of the replacement rate when a toner cartridge containing the first toner is replaced by another toner cartridge containing the second toner.
Abstract:
Provided is a fixing device including a pair of end deformation restraint members. A restraint body 35 of the end deformation restraint member has an insertion part 38 which is inserted into both end portions of a fixing belt, and restrains deformation of belt end portions by holding both end portions of the fixing belt, which slides on an outer peripheral surface of the insertion part 38, from inside in the insertion part 38. The insertion part 38 is continued in a belt rotation direction with no gap.
Abstract:
A fixing device includes a fixing belt, a pressuring member, a heat source, a pressing member and a first heating stop device. The fixing belt is provided to be rotatable around a rotation axis. The pressuring member is configured to be rotatable and to come into pressure contact with the fixing belt so as to form a fixing nip. The heat source is arranged at an inner diameter side of the fixing belt, provided at a position displaced from the rotation axis and configured to heat the fixing belt. The pressing member is configured to press the fixing belt to a side of the pressuring member. The first heating stop device is configured to face an outer circumferential face of a closest part to the heat source of the fixing belt and to operate at a first operating temperature so as to stop the heat source from heating the fixing belt.
Abstract:
A fixing device includes a fixing belt rotatably located around a rotation axis, a pressure member rotatably located, and a pressing member. The pressure member is brought into pressure contact with the fixing belt to form a fixing nip. The pressing member includes a pressing surface that presses the fixing belt toward a side of the pressure member. The pressing surface includes a plane surface portion extending along a conveyance direction of a recording medium, and a curved surface portion located at a downstream side of the plane surface portion in the conveyance direction of the recording medium. The curved surface portion is curved along an outer peripheral surface of the pressure member. The curved surface portion has a curvature radius larger than a curvature radius of the outer peripheral surface of the pressure member before a deformation in association with a formation of the fixing nip.
Abstract:
A fixing device includes a fixing belt, a pressuring member, a heat source, a pressing member, a temperature sensor and a controller. A detected region whose temperature is detected by the temperature sensor is formed in the fixing belt, and an elastic layer of the detected region is provided with a hole in a part thereof in a circumferential direction. The controller judges that the fixing belt is rotating in a case where the temperature detected by the temperature sensor alternately increases and decreases in a state that the heat source is heating the fixing belt, and judges that the fixing belt is not rotating in a case where the temperature detected by the temperature sensor does not alternately increase and decrease in the state that the heat source is heating the fixing belt.
Abstract:
A fixing device includes a fixing belt, a pressuring member, a heat source, a pressing member, a heating stop device and a deformation preventing member. The deformation preventing member is configured to face an inner circumferential face of the fixing belt. In a state where the fixing belt is not broken in a circumferential direction, the fixing belt and the deformation preventing member are arranged at an interval, and when the fixing belt is broken in the circumferential direction, the fixing belt is deformed and comes into contact with the deformation preventing member so that the fixing belt is prevented from being deformed to a side far from the heating stop device.
Abstract:
This disclosure relates to a developing device supplying a non-magnetic one-component developer onto an image bearing member on which an electrostatic latent image is formed. The developing device has an accommodating portion, a supply roller, a development roller, and a regulating member. The accommodating portion accommodates the developer. The supply roller holds the developer accommodated in the accommodating portion on the outer circumferential surface thereof. The development roller has a roller portion, and a rotational shaft member. The roller portion receives the developer supplied from the supply roller and holds a developer layer on the outer circumferential surface thereof. The rotational shaft member is arranged to extend along a rotational axis and has at least one magnet portion. The regulating member is a plate member arranged to be surface contacted onto the surface of the developer layer on the development roller and having part thereof configured of a magnetic member.
Abstract:
A fixing device is provided with a rotatable fixing member, a pressure roller for holding and conveying a sheet between the pressure roller and the fixing member, a driving unit for driving the pressure roller or the fixing member, a heating unit for heating the fixing member, and a control unit for receiving an instruction for designating any of a first mode in which a temperature of the fixing member is raised at a first temperature raising speed and a second mode in which a temperature of the fixing member is raised at a second temperature raising speed slower than the first temperature raising speed to reduce a generation amount of ultrafine particles compared with the first mode, and controlling the driving unit or the heating unit so as to raise the temperature of the fixing member to a first temperature at a temperature raising speed corresponding to the instruction.
Abstract:
A fixing device fixing an image on a recording medium includes a fixing belt rotatable around a first rotation axis, a pressuring member, a heat source body and a cover member. The pressuring member forms a nip part pressuring and making the recording medium pass through with the fixing belt. The heat source body is arranged inside the fixing belt and heats the fixing belt by emitting radiant heat. The cover member is arranged between the fixing belt and the heat source body and covers the heat source body. The nip part has a passing area where the recording medium passes through and a non-passing area outside the passing area in an axial direction. The cover member covers a part of the heat source body corresponding to the non-passing area and includes through holes formed so as to adjust surface temperature of the heat source body.
