    Abstract: A laser scanning device includes a polygon mirror, one or more lenses, and a plurality of light shielding plates. The polygon mirror reflects a light beam during rotation of the polygon mirror. The lenses allow the light beam reflected off the polygon mirror to pass through the lenses. The plurality of light shielding plates are arranged at a distance from each other and block an undesirable beam, which is part of the light beam, reflected off at least one of the lenses and heading for an optical device. The plurality of light shielding plates form an air channel that allows an air current generated by the rotation of the polygon mirror to flow through the air channel.

    Abstract: An optical scanning device includes a cleaning member held to a holing member and reciprocally moving on a surface of a transparent cover according to reciprocal movement of the holing member, thereby cleaning the surface. The cleaning member is configured such that a front side surface of the cleaning member in a progress direction during the reciprocal movement serves as an inclination surface obliquely crossing the progress direction when viewed from a direction vertical to the surface of the transparent cover, and at an outer side of the transparent cover in a direction perpendicular to the progress direction, a concave portion is formed to collect foreign matters moving to the outer side along the inclination surface according to the movement of the cleaning member.

An abutting fulcrum is provided at an end of a movement path of the holing member, abuts a predetermined place of a surface of a front side in a progress direction of the holing member, allows the holing member to rotate by employing an abutting part of the holding member with the abutting fulcrum as a fulcrum, and reduces a position shift amount between the one side end portion and the other side end portion of the holing member in the progress direction.

    Abstract: A toner case includes a case main body, a rotator, a transmitter, a moving mechanism and a manipulation member. The rotator rotates around a rotation axis. At least a part of the rotator is stored in the case main body. The transmitter is arranged outside the case main body and transmits rotation to the rotator. The manipulation member is arranged outside the case main body. As the manipulation member moves from a first manipulating position to a second manipulating position, the moving mechanism moves the transmitter from a first position to a second position which is arranged at an outside of the first position in a rotation axis direction of the rotator. As the manipulation member moves from the second manipulating position to the first manipulating position, the moving mechanism moves the transmitter from the second position to the first position.

    Abstract: An optical scanning device includes a light transmitting member, a guide rail, a holding member, and a cleaning member. The light transmitting member extends in a main scanning direction and transmits a light beam. The guide rail extends in the main scanning direction and is arranged parallel to the light transmitting member. The holding member extends in a cross direction intersecting the main scanning direction and moves in the main scanning direction along the guide rail. The cleaning member is held by the holding member and cleans a light emitting surface of the light transmitting member by means of movement of the holding member in the main scanning direction.

    Abstract: A conveying screw configured to convey a toner in an axial direction includes a conveying shaft part and a conveying blade. The conveying shaft part is configured to be rotated around an axis. The conveying blade is spirally formed around an outer circumferential face of the conveying shaft part and configured to convey a toner in a replenishment path. At least one spiral of the conveying blade is formed by two semicircular blade plates which are coupled to in postures inclined in opposite directions to each other. A through hole through which the toner is passed in the axial direction is formed in an area surrounded by the conveying shaft part and the two blade plates.
