摘要： A function identification information acquisition circuit acquires function identification information for identifying a particular function from one or more electronic apparatuses executing a plurality of functions, the function identification information being associated with one of apparatus identification information for identifying the one or more electronic apparatuses and user identification information for identifying one or more users registered in the one or more electronic apparatuses. An important function selection circuit selects a function with high importance from the plurality of functions based on the acquired function identification information. An important function identification information supply circuit supplies important function identification information to one of an electronic apparatus identified by the apparatus identification information that is not associated with the important function identification information and an electronic apparatus in which user identification information that is not associated with the important function identification information is registered.

摘要： An image reading device includes a document tray, a linear conveyance path, a curved conveyance path, a document conveyance device, a scanning device, a length detecting device, an operation device, and a controller. A plurality of conveyance rollers are disposed at a predetermined first interval in the linear conveyance path. In the curved conveyance path, a plurality of conveyance rollers are disposed at a predetermined second interval longer than the first interval. When accepting through the operation device an instruction for conveying an original document through the curved conveyance path, the controller allows conveyance of the original document through the curved conveyance path when a length of the original document detected by the length detecting device is not shorter than the second interval or disallows conveyance of the original document through the curved conveyance path when the detected length of the original document is shorter than the second interval.

摘要： An image processing system comprising an image forming apparatus and an information processing device being connected to the image forming apparatus via a network. In the image forming apparatus, a remaining amount detection section detects a remaining toner amount. A first communication section transmits the remaining toner amount to the information processing device. In the information processing device, a second communication section receives the remaining toner amount transmitted from the image forming apparatus. A control section counts a number of characters included in the document before the transmission of print data, obtains, based on the number of characters and a character-based toner consumption amount per character, a total toner consumption amount of a toner to be consumed for printing the image based on the document, compares the total toner consumption amount with the remaining toner amount, and causes a display section to display results of the comparison.
