A communication device includes: a first communication section, a second communication section, a storage section, a determination section, and a control section. The first communication section communicates with a storage device based on predefined interface communication standards to perform data transfer. The second communication section communicates with an external device in a method other than the interface communication standards to perform data transmission. The storage section stores the selected error code that is previously defined to cause a bit error by noise. The determination section determines whether or not an error code indicated by the error information agrees with the selected error code. The control section, upon determination by the determination section that the error codes agrees with each other, gives the first communication section and the second communication section instructions for cancelling the data transfer and performing data re-transfer.

An information processing apparatus according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes an input/output control portion and a restart control portion. The input/output control portion is configured to be able to have a plurality of electronic devices connected thereto, and is configured to control input/output between each electronic device and the information processing apparatus. The restart control portion is configured to switch whether to restart the input/output control portion in a case where an abnormality defined in advance has occurred with respect to an electronic device, in accordance with the number of the electronic devices connected to the input/output control portion.

The operation panel accepts a registration of a margin image and a setting of an emphasis region within the margin image. The storage unit stores data for emphasis including a registered margin image and positional data. The registered margin image is the margin image that has been registered, and the positional data indicates a position of the emphasis region in the registered margin image. When the control unit determines that the registered margin image is included in the page image data, the control unit performs an emphasis process on an image of a corresponding region whose position at the registered margin image included in the page image data is identical to a position of the emphasis region in the registered margin image included in the stored data for emphasis.

An image forming apparatus includes an encryption processing unit, a storage unit, a decryption processing unit, a decryption processing unit, and an image output unit. The encryption processing unit encrypts non-compressed image data that is not compressed and indicates a raw image as a target of the forming to generate encrypted image data. The storage unit stores the generated encrypted image data. The decryption processing unit decrypts the stored encrypted image data to restore the non-compressed image data. The image output unit forms the print image on the print medium using the non-compressed image data to output a printed matter. The image forming apparatus regards and processes the encrypted image data as the non-compressed image data to generate encryption confirmation image data indicating an encryption confirmation image, so as to associate and then display the encryption confirmation image with the printed matter using the encryption confirmation image data.
