Abstract: An inkjet recording device includes a first tank, a second tank and a communicating passage. The first tank stores a first liquid containing a volatile component and supplies the first liquid to an inkjet head. The second tank has a vent hole leading to an atmosphere and stores a second liquid containing the volatile component. The communicating passage communicates a space above a liquid level in the first tank with a space above a liquid level in the second tank.
