摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a combustion apparatus equipped with a pilot burner and a main burner capable of establishing a stable combustion state without involving generation of CO and unburned substances at the main burner even when the supply of a gas fuel to the pilot burner is stopped. A combustion apparatus equipped with a pilot burner and a main burner according to the present invention is characterized in that, when the main burner is in a combustion state, the amount of air supplied to the pilot burner can be adjusted. Here, the amount of air supplied to the pilot burner is an amount allowing the pilot burner to be cooled.

摘要: In a binding assembly for binders for holding a number of sheets of paper detachably bound together, the clamping unit, which includes a pair of metallic clamping plates for holding the paper therebetween, is detachably latched to a holder base which is in turn permanently attached to the binding of a binder. The clamping unit is provided with a bar extending across a cutout provided in a lower edge of each clamping plate, and the bar latches onto a latching mechanism provided in the holder base. Either one of the clamping plates may be selectively latched onto or unlatched away from the holder base while the other clamping plate is kept hinged to the holder base. The latching mechanism includes a pair of latch members made of plastic material, and slidably retained by a metallic base plate of the holder base, and the load applied to the clamping unit is primarily supported by the metallic base plate for minimizing the load applied to the latch members. The load which tends to pull the clamping unit away from the holder base is supported by holding pieces which are lifted from the base plate, and bent over the latch members. The binding assembly is thus made highly simple in structure, and economical and easy to manufacture. By making the essential parts of the latching mechanism with plastic material, it is possible to ensure the accurate and reliable action of the latching mechanism.

摘要: A junction type compound lens using glass and resin is used. By properly controlling the difference between refractive indices and the difference between Abbe numbers of the resin and glass, interface reflection that occurs when a ray with a large incidence angle is incident is restricted, and generation of a flare or a ghost image is restricted. Further, by properly controlling the difference in refractive index and the difference in Abbe number, various aberrations, such as spherical aberration, field curvature, and chromatic aberration, which may deteriorate optical performance, can be corrected. Thus, a small and high-performance imaging lens can be provided.

摘要: A holder for an optical fiber ferrule end face grinding apparatus is provided which can grind an increased number of optical fiber ferrules simultaneously. The holder comprises a holder plate provided with a plurality of ferrule insertion holes, a seat extending to at least one insertion hole and having a first wall, and a second wall on a side of the insertion hole opposing the seat. A slidable holding member including a front face facing the second wall, and an inclined rear face is disposed on the seat. A depression member is mounted on the holder plate that presses downwardly on a rod member disposed on the inclined rear face. As the depression member is operated, the rod member is pressed downwardly along the first wall, and the holding member is pushed forward such that a ferrule is clamped between the front face and the second wall.

摘要: A tube to be connected to a pipe is formed of a base portion, a wide portion and a narrow portion integrally molded together. The wide portion has an inner end extending to the base portion, and an opening formed at a side opposite to the inner end. An inner diameter of the wide portion is greater than that of the base portion. When the pipe is inserted, the base portion receives an insertion portion of the pipe, while the wide portion receives a projecting portion of the pipe therein. The narrow portion deformably projects inwardly from an inner circumference of the wide portion at a position away from the inner end. The narrower portion allows the projecting portion to pass therethrough in a pipe inserting direction by deformation thereof, and prevents the projecting portion from passing therethrough in a pipe removing direction opposite to the pipe inserting direction.
