摘要： A toner composition having toner particles comprising a gel latex, a high Tg latex, a wax, and a colorant. The gel latex is present in an amount of from about 3 weight percent to about 30 weight percent of the toner composition, the high Tg latex is present in an amount of from about 50 weight percent to about 95 weight percent of the toner composition, the wax is present in an amount of from about 2 weight percent to about 40 weight percent of the toner composition, and the colorant is present in an amount of from about 1 weight percent to about 25 weight percent of the toner composition.

摘要： A process for toner preparation includes forming toner particles by mixing an emuslion comprising at least binder resin and a colorant, aggregating the toner particles, and blending external additives with the toner particles in a blender to form a toner, wherein the blender has a blend intensity of from about 90.5 to about 100.5 W/lb, a specific blend energy of from about 20.3 to about 35.3 W-h/lb and a blender loading density of from about 0.25 to about 0.55 lb/L.

摘要： The toner described herein contains toner particles containing polymer, colorant and cross-linked polymer. The cross-linked polymer is incorporated at least in the shell of the toner particles. Incorporating cross-linked polymer in the shell of the toner particles provide bumps in the surface of the toner particles. These bumps can behave as spacers. Such toner can be formed by aggregating at least polymer particles and colorant particles to form core particles; aggregating at least cross-linked polymer particles to the surface of the core particles; and coalescing the resulting particles to form toner particles.

摘要： Toner compositions include a non cross linked resin; a cross linked resin or gel; a wax; and a colorant. Processes for preparing a toner include mixing a non-cross linked resin and a cross-linked resin or gel in the presence of a wax, a colorant, and a coagulant to provide toner size aggregates; adding additional non-cross linked latex to the formed aggregates thereby providing a shell over the formed aggregates; heating the shell covered aggregates to form toner; and, optionally, isolating the toner.

摘要： Toner particles comprise resin, wax and optionally colorants, and the wax is substantially excluded from the interior core of the toner particles. Processes for preparing such toner particles comprise providing an aqueous dispersion of resin particles and optionally colorants, mixing the aqueous dispersion in presence of a coagulant, aggregating to form particles, coalescing to form fused particles, and removing the fused particles from the aqueous dispersion. Wax dispersions can be added either after mixing or during aggregation, so that wax is excluded from the core of the toner particles.

摘要： A method of making a phase change ink composition includes adding to a device with a stirring element at least one pigment, at least one dispersant and at least one synergist, processing the device at an elevated temperature and at a stirring rate to wet the at least one pigment to obtain an ink concentrate, and mixing the ink concentrate with an ink vehicle to obtain the ink composition. The device may be an extruder, an attritor or the like. The method allows for the reduction in the amount of dispersant to include in the ink.
