摘要： A process for making multi-phase liquid compositions is disclosed. For example, a plurality of liquid phases can be placed in separate vessels equipped with supply lines. Predetermined amounts of each of the liquid phase can be transferred, via the supply lines, into a combiner that aligns each of the liquid phases. The liquid phases can be transferred from the combiner to a blender. A mixing element of the blender can blend the liquid phases together to produce a multi-phase liquid composition having a visually distinct pattern formed by the liquid phases. The multi-phase liquid phase composition can be transferred to an individual product container via a delivery nozzle. When said multi-phase liquid composition is transferred to said individual product container via said delivery nozzle, the individual product container can be rotated, via a rotating platform of a bottle holding device.

摘要： A multiphase personal care composition that comprises a structured surfactant phase and an oil continuous benefit phase. The structured surfactant phase comprises from about 5% to about 30% of a mixture of lathering surfactants, a lamellar inducing agent and a cationic polymer. The oil continuous benefit phase comprises a hydrocarbon based benefit material and a low HLB emulsifier. The low HLB emulsifier comprises an unsaturated monoglyceryl ester having from about 14 to about 30 carbon atoms. The oil continuous benefit phase comprises a ratio of said hydrocarbon based benefit materials to said low HLB emulsifier comprising from about 30:1 to about 200:1.

A method of using the personal care composition is also provided.

The multiphase personal care composition comprises an aqueous structured surfactant phase, a structuring system, and a benefit phase. The aqueous structured surfactant phase comprises from about 5% to about 16%, by weight of the multiphase personal care composition, of a lathering surfactant selected from the group consisting of anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, cationic surfactants or mixtures thereof and a structuring system. The structuring system comprises a non-ionic emulsifier having an HLB of from about 1.4 to about 13; about 0.05% to about 5%, by weight of the multiphase personal care composition, of an associative polymer; and an electrolyte. The benefit phase comprises from about 5% to about 30%, by weight of the multiphase personal care composition, of hydrophobic benefit material.

A method of shaving is also disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: wetting a skin surface; dispensing the multiphase personal care composition from the personal care article that comprises a package containing a visually distinct, multiphase personal care composition; contacting a skin surface with the personal care composition, and applying a shaving razor to the skin surface.
