    Abstract: A solid, dissolvable cleansing composition is disclosed. The cleansing composition includes a viscosity of about 1,000,000 to about 50,000,000 Pascal-seconds (PaS). The cleansing composition comprises about 25% or more, by weight of the cleansing composition, of a surfactant with an active content of about 60% or greater and about 5% or more, by weight of the cleansing composition, of a co-surfactant. The cleansing composition further includes about 30% or more, by weight of the cleansing composition, of expandable microspheres.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a personal care composition. The personal care composition comprises a surfactant phase. The surfactant phase comprises a surfactant of about 3% to about 12%, by weight of the personal care composition and a co-surfactant of about 4% or less by weight of the personal care composition. The surfactant includes sodium trideceth sulfate. The surfactant phase further comprises a structuring system. The structuring system comprises about 0.05% to about 5%, by weight of the personal care composition, of a crosslinked associative polymer and an electrolyte. The crosslinked associative polymer comprises a hydrophobic modification of less than 10% and can be hydrophobically modified with greater than a C6 alkyl. The personal care composition further comprises a benefit phase comprising a hydrophobic benefit material of about 1% to about 50%, by weight of the personal care composition.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a substantially dry, disposable personal care article suitable for cleansing wherein the article comprises: a) a water insoluble substrate comprising a first layer that includes a nonwoven ply and a polymeric net arranged with the nonwoven ply; and b) a cleansing component disposed adjacent to said first layer, wherein said component comprises from about 10% to about 1000%, by weight of the water insoluble substrate, of a lathering surfactant. The present invention further relates to a substantially dry, disposable personal care article suitable for conditioning wherein the above-described article comprises a therapeutic benefit component, disposed adjacent to the water insoluble substrate, wherein the therapeutic benefit component comprises from about 10% to about 1000%, by weight of the water insoluble substrate, of a therapeutic benefit agent in addition to or in lieu of the cleansing component. These articles have been found to be particularly useful for personal cleansing applications, namely for the skin and hair.
