摘要: An air mixing control type air conditioner used for an automobile for controlling the diffusing air temperature so as to follow a main temperature control at an assistant driver's seat side for a main temperature control at a driver's seat side and to also maintain desired high or low temperature difference with respect to the main temperature control. Thus, the diffusing air temperature of the sub control system following the main diffusing air temperature can be controlled in a range of a predetermined constant temperature difference with respect to the main diffusing air temperature of the main control system. Accordingly, desired automotive cmpartment temperature can be obtained merely by a single main control lever.

摘要: A control circuit for a vehicle-mounted air conditioner having plural dampers therein comprises a manual command entry unit for entering command signals to a computer unit. The computer unit includes a first computer constantly powered by a vehicle-mounted storage battery to receive a temperature resetting command signal from the entry unit and a second computer which is powered from the battery through an engine ignition key switch to receive control data from the first computer to control the air conditioner. A plurality of operating parameter sensors also supplies sensed operating parameters to the second computer to permit it to control one or more of the dampers to direct conditioned air to the vehicle compartment. A display unit receives data from the computer unit to provide visual display of the reference temperature and the operating conditions of the air conditioner.

摘要: An air treatment assembly through which flows an air flow. The air flow is introduced into a ducting system, at an intermediate part of which a heater element is mounted. A first damper upstream of the heater divides the air flow into a first air flow portion passing through the heater and a second air flow portion bypassing the heater. First and second air outlets downstream of the heater element pass air out of the ducting system. A second damper, downstream of the heater element and upstream of the outlets, is movable between a first position in which it hinders the first and second air flows from mixing, so that the air passed out from the first outlet is primarily air from the first air flow, and the air passed out from the second outlet is primarily air from the second air flow; and a second position, in which it does not substantially hinder mixing of the first and second air flows, which meet downstream of the heater and mix well before being passed out from the air outlets.

摘要: A mounting structure of a roof duct in an air conditioner which comprises a top surface of the roof duct having an air diffuser and formed with a grooved recess along the longitudinal direction of the roof duct, a trough-shaped reinforcement mounted at both ends thereof on an automotive body engaged with the grooved recess, a swelled part partly swelled on the bottom of the reinforcement and formed on the bottom in reverse direction to the grooved recess, and a wire harness connected to a control switch and inserted into the space formed between the bottom of the grooved recess and the swelled part of the reinforcement. Thus, this mounting structure can obtain a passage of a wire harness out of the roof duct, thereby reducing the resistance of ventilation of air through the roof duct. Further, this mounting structure can use a reinforcement as a fixture of a wire harness and a protector, thereby reducing the abnormal noise from the roof duct, can reduce the number and weight of components to be mounted in the roof duct and can facilitate the mounting of the roof duct on the roof.
