摘要： A display device includes: a plurality of light-emitting elements, each light-emitting element having a light-emitting unit and a driving circuit for driving the light-emitting unit. The driving circuit at least includes (A) a drive transistor having source/drain regions, a channel forming region, and a gate electrode, (B) a video signal write transistor having source/drain regions, a channel forming region, and a gate electrode, and (C) a capacitive unit. In the drive transistor, (A-1) one of the source/drain regions is connected to the corresponding current supply line, (A-2) the other region of the source/drain regions is connected to the light-emitting unit and connected to one end of the capacitive unit, and forms a second node, and (A-3) the gate electrode is connected to the other region of the source/drain regions of the video signal write transistor and connected to the other end of the capacitive unit, and forms a first node.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a display apparatus including a pixel array section and a drive section. The pixel array section has power supply lines, scan lines arranged in row, signal lines arranged in column, and pixels arranged in matrix at intersections of each of the scan lines and each of the signal lines. The drive transistor is connected at one of a pair of current terminals to the light emitting device and at the other of the pair of current terminals to the power supply line. The drive section supplies a control signal to each scan line and a video signal to each signal line to drive each pixel, executing a threshold voltage correcting operation, a write operation, and a light emitting operation.

摘要： A drive method of a display device includes the steps of: performing threshold voltage cancel processing at least once, which changes a potential of a second node of a display device toward a potential obtained by subtracting a threshold voltage of a drive transistor from a potential of a first node by applying a given drive voltage to one source/drain region of the drive transistor from a feeding line while maintaining the potential of the first node; and then, performing writing processing which applies a video signal to the first node from a data line through a write transistor, wherein the sum of lengths of periods in which the threshold voltage cancel processing is performed is so set as to be shorter as a frame frequency becomes higher.

摘要： In the present invention, there is provided a display apparatus including: a pixel array section including pixel circuits each having an electro-optical device, a write transistor configured to carry out a voltage storing process, a holding capacitor configured to hold the sampled video signal, and a driving transistor configured to drive the electro-optical device; first scan means for carrying out a selective scan operation in row units and driving each of the write transistors; second scan means for selectively supplying either a first or second electric potential synchronously with the selective scan operation for feeding a current to each of the driving transistors; and control means for sustaining a power-supply feed line in a floating state during a period ending at a time not earlier than the start of the voltage storing process after a voltage corresponding to the threshold voltage of the driving transistor has been held in the holding capacitor.
