    摘要: A single metal layer device, such as a display or sensor, comprises a substrate and a patterned metal layer. The patterned metal layer forms a two-dimensional array of spatially separated column line segments that each extend only partially across the display substrate in a column direction and forms a one-dimensional array of row lines extending across the display substrate in a row direction different from the column direction. The row lines and column line segments are electrically separate in the patterned metal layer. Spatially separated electrical jumpers are disposed on the display substrate and electrically connect pairs of column line segments adjacent in the column direction. Each electrical jumper has an independent jumper substrate independent of and separate from the display substrate. In certain embodiments, spatially separated light-emitting pixel circuits are disposed on a display substrate and are electrically connected to at least one row line and one column line.

    摘要: A display device includes a substrate including a wiring portion, a pad unit provided on the substrate and extended from the wiring portion, an integrated circuit chip electrically connected to the pad unit and mounted on the substrate, and an anisotropic conductive film configured to electrically connect the pad unit and the integrated chip to each other. The anisotropic conductive film includes an adhesive layer provided between the pad unit and the integrated circuit chip and at least one conductive ball scattered in the adhesive layer. A heat generator is also provided on the substrate. The heat generator is configured to come into contact with the anisotropic conductive film to supply heat to the anisotropic conductive film.

    摘要: We describe a method of driving an OLED display. The OLED display comprises a plurality of pixel driver circuits on chiplets, each pixel driver circuit comprising an output transistor for driving a first connection of an associated OLED pixel. A cascode transistor on the chiplet is coupled between the output transistor and the first connection of said associated OLED pixel. A power supply is provided to the chiplet, defining a chiplet voltage range. A second connection of the associated OLED pixel is connected to an OLED voltage outside said chiplet voltage range. The OLED pixel is then driven using the pixel driver circuit on the chiplet over an OLED voltage range greater than said chiplet voltage range. In some preferred embodiments a drain connection of the cascode transistor is set at a voltage below a ground or negative (Vss) power supply to a chiplet.
