    摘要: A cutting tool is provided for preventing dust intrusion into a guide member effectively as well as cooling a housing, thereby maintaining an excellent operability. A cutting tool has a body housing including an upper housing and a lower housing. In front of a flange portion of the lower housing, right-and-left air outlets are provided. At the front end of the lower housing, right-and-left second guiding ports are provided. Further, between an insulating cover and the lower housing, clearances which allow the outlets and the second guiding ports to communicate with each other are provided. Therefore, when the insulating cover is placed, an air passage is formed in which cooling air discharged from the air outlets moves to the front passing through the clearances, and flows into a space as the junction through the second guiding ports to be discharged to the front.

    摘要: A lock washer (24) presses balls (21) and pins (23) against a clutch cam (18) with protrusions (19) formed on its front face. A rear end (25a) of a spring holder (25) abuts on the inner edge of the front face of the lock washer (24) while the half of the front end surface of each pin (23) abuts on the rear face of the outer edge of the lock washer (24). Furthermore, the compression spring (26) also abuts on the lock washer (24) with its outer edge approximately aligned with the outer edge of the lock washer (24). Therefore, if a large load is instantaneously applied to a spindle (11) at the end of screw tightening, the outer edge of the lock washer (24) deforms forward. This in turn causes the balls (21) to ride over the protrusions (19) of the clutch face, thus allowing a slight rotation of the internal gear (10c). This clutch operation lessens the impact that occurs at the end of screw tightening, serving to protect the tool mechanism and to reduce the shock to the operator's hand.

    摘要: A simple attachment structure of the present invention ensures favorable connection of a battery pack with a battery holder in a power-driven tool over a long time period without causing any defective contact. A pair of side slots (47a,47b) as well as a pair of insertion slots (48a,48b) are formed in a connection surface (49) of an upper battery case (20) of a battery pack (10). Electrode terminal assemblies (41a,41b) are set in the side slots (47a,47b) and the insertion slots (48a,48b) to be exposed on the two side faces thereof. A positive spring terminal (64a) and a negative spring terminal (64b) are integrally joined with and supported by a terminal base 61 of a battery holder (60). Each spring terminal (64a,64b) has an insertion element (66a,66b) formed to have a width a little greater than the width of the insertion slot (48a,48b). When the spring terminals (64a,64b) are inserted into the insertion slots (48a,48b), the elasticity of the spring terminals (64a,64b) presses the insertion elements (66a,66b) thereof against the electrode terminal assemblies (41a,41b). This realizes electrical connection of the spring terminals (64a,64b) with the electrode terminal assemblies (41a,41b) and enables the battery pack (10) to be integrally joined with the battery holder (60) of the power-driven tool.
