摘要:
The absorption chamber of an absorption-type air-conditioning apparatus is formed as a vertically oriented cylinder having an inner surface on which absorption liquid is dispensed for absorbing water vapor or coolant vapor. A guide structure is installed at the inner surface of the cylinder to lead the absorption liquid to the inner surface of the cylinder and to spread the absorption liquid over substantially all of the inner surface of the cylinder. The guide structure may be in the form of a mesh lath rolled into a cylindrical shape and installed against the inner surface of the cylinder or a helical coil installed against the inner surface of the cylinder and having a plurality of grooves formed on an outer surface of the coil to allow a portion of the absorption liquid flowing on an upward-facing surface of the coil to flow vertically downward to portions of the inner surface of the cylinder.

An absorption-type air-conditioning apparatus uses an absorption liquid that is a solution of a liquid coolant and an absorption medium. First and second regenerators are provided for heating the absorption liquid to release coolant vapor and concentrate the absorption liquid. Each of the regenerators includes a respective fin-tube-type heat exchanger in which the absorption liquid flows as it is being heated.

Whenever necessary, an operation for diluting an absorbing solution after the stop of the operation is unlimitedly enabled without increasing the size of an absorption refrigerating machine. For the dilution operation after the operation of the absorption refrigerating machine, a pipe line of a dilute solution circulating pipe KD is opened by a dilution valve VD. Thereby, a solution pump P1 and an absorber A can be directly connected through a circulating pipe K6. The operation of the solution pump allows circulating a low-concentration solution and facilitates the dilution of a high-concentration solution to a low concentration. Since this case has nothing to do with a pressure difference in a path, the dilution operation can be performed whenever necessary. Moreover, since it is unnecessary to deal with a pressure loss, it is not necessary to increase the height of the apparatus. Thus, there are no increase in the space for installation and no rise in the cost of the apparatus due to the large-sized refrigerating machine. Moreover, since the solution pump used in the normal operation can be used for the dilution operation, an additional pump for the dilution operation only is not needed. The dilution operation can be therefore performed at low cost.

Each of the water dispense pipes 46 in a dual pipe unit has nozzle 46a in an area starting just before the evaporating/absorbing compartment 43 and extending to its distal end. The nozzle 46a is a means by which the portion of the circulation pipe that is located upstream of the nozzle and which is exposed to elevated temperature is isolated from the evaporating/absorbing compartment filled with a low-temperature and pressure atmosphere. As a result, the streams of refrigerant water coming from the distributor 45 are suppressed by the nozzles at the distal ends of the individual water dispense pipes so that the liquid pressure becomes uniform among those distal ends, from which the refrigerant water is dispensed into the evaporating/absorbing compartment at a generally uniform pressure.

Dual pipe unit 40 is erected vertically and comprises cold water pipe 41 serving as a passageway of cold water and surrounded by coaxial outer pipe 42. The cold water pipe consists of evaporating pipe portion 41a sealed at the bottom and inner pipe portion 41b coaxially provided in its interior. The bottom of the inner pipe portion is open near the bottom of the evaporating pipe portion whereas its top penetrating the top of the evaporating pipe portion to project into the latter is fixed thereto in a liquid-tight manner. The cold water pipe penetrates the top of the outer pipe but it is fixed to the latter in a liquid-tight manner, with its bottom end being spaced from the bottom end of the outer pipe by a specified distance. Evaporating/absorbing compartment 43 is formed between the evaporating pipe and the outer pipe. The channel of cold water through the evaporating pipe portion is narrowed and the cold water collects toward its wall surface, flowing at an increased relative velocity. This contributes to enhance the efficiency of cooling the cold water.

Lower and upper limit float switches 15a and 15b for detecting the liquid level in high-temperature separator 14, orifice portion 18 and float-associated valve V1 parallel to the orifice portion are provided, with the orifice portion being provided on circulation pipe K2 extending from the gas-liquid separator in a position either upstream or downstream of high-temperature heat exchanger 17. The float-associated valve is closed when the liquid level drops to the lower limit thereof and it is opened when the liquid level rises to the upper limit thereof. During normal operation of the cooling apparatus, the flowing of steam from the gas-liquid separator into the heat exchanging unit can be prevented to ensure smooth passage of the solution. In a diluting operation, the head of the gas-liquid separator suffices to ensure an adequate flow of the solution in spite of the small pressure difference, thereby assuring the diluting operation to proceed smoothly.

An air-cooled absorption-type air conditioning apparatus performs both cooling and heating operations. The apparatus includes circulation pipes through which a thermal medium flows, the thermal medium being for controlling room air temperature. Further included in the apparatus are outer pipes provided concentrically and outside of sections of the circulation pipes to form chambers between the circulation pipes and the outer pipes. The outer pipes have fins on external surfaces of the outer pipes, and the fins are arranged in a substantially vertical orientation. Also included in the apparatus are a fan for circulating air over the outer pipes, first spray mechanisms for dispensing a liquid coolant over outer surfaces of the circulation pipes in the chambers formed between the circulation pipes and the outer pipes, and second spray mechanisms for dispensing an absorption liquid onto inner surfaces of the outer pipes in the chambers, the absorption liquid being for absorbing the liquid coolant.

A garbage disposer for deodorizing and drying of garbage. A processing tank containing garbage is heated through the implementation of a heater, and thereby the temperatures in the processing tank and the heating chamber are raised and the water contained in the garbage is evaporated. When a predetermined period of time has passed, from the start of the heating of the processing tank, a fan and heater are prompted into operation and the gas in the heating chamber, which contains a large quantity of steam, flows into a condensing section where the gas is cooled as it flows through the fin tube and the dew point of the gas is lowered; and the steam contained in the gas is condensed into water. The remaining gas is then returned to the heating chamber through a returning pipe, where the gas is heated to a high temperature. The condensed water is collected in a condensing section and the collected water flows into a discharge pipe whereby the water is discharged to the outside of the garbage disposal. The high temperature gas flows to a nozzle where it is jetted through the nozzle and to the garbage contained within the processing tank.
