摘要： Disclosed is a friction false-twisting device comprising three parallel rotatable shafts disposed at vertexes of a regular triangle and a plurality of friction discs having a yarn contacting surface made of ceramic disposed on the rotatable shafts. Each friction disc comprises a pair of parallel end surfaces, having a large distance T(mm) between the end surfaces in a range between 5 and 8 mm, a curved surface disposed at a position between said parallel end surfaces having a large radius of curvature R(mm) in a range between 5 and 8 mm and a pair of connecting surfaces formed between the end surfaces and the curved surface having a small radius of curvature r(mm) in a range between 1/6 R and 1/2 R. The surface roughness of the yarn contacting surface is formed in a range between 1.sup.s and 6.sup.s, defined by Japanese Industrial Standard. The friction discs and the shafts are arranged so that, when utilizing this false-twisting device, yarn can be false-twisted at a speed higher than 400 m/min, yarn breakages and fluffs in the textured yarn are decreased, and the yarn quality of the textured yarn is high and uniform.

摘要： A polyester spun-like textured yarn comprising: a core portion; and a wrapper portion continuously and alternately wrapping about the core portion. The core portion comprises a polyester multifilament yarn (A) which is not dyeable with ionic dyes. The wrapper portion comprises polyester multifilament yarns (B) and (C) which are entangled with each other. The yarn (B) is not dyeable with ionic dyes, and the yarn (C) is dyeable with ionic dyes. Some of the filaments constituting the wrapper portion are entangled and interlaced with some of the filaments constituting the core portion in the boundary region between the core and wrapper portions.

摘要： Textured polyester multifilament yarns usable for producing knitted or woven fabrics having a desirable dyeing property but no objectionable appearance of local glitter, are prepared, with high efficiency, by simultaneously drawing and false-twist texturing an undrawn polyester multifilament feed yarn composed of a plurality of polyester filaments each having a multilobal cross-sectional profile having 5 to 10 lobes projected radially with substantially equal angular intervals therebetween about the center of the filament, the cross-sectional profile satisfying the relationship (1)1.05 .ltoreq. R.sub.1 /R.sub.0 .ltoreq. 1.16 (1)wherein R.sub.0 is the radius of an imaginary circle inscribed within the cross-section around the center of the filament and R.sub.1 is the radius of another imaginary circle circumscribed about the tips of at least half the total number of the lobes, around the center of the filament.
