    摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a drill for producing a deep hole that does not produce bend of the hole during cutting. A drill body 1 is spirally provided with a pair of cutting edges 3. The cutting edges 3 are spaced at about 180 degrees apart around a core 1a of the drill and the edge line 3a of a tip section of the cutting edges 3 is depressed toward a core 1a of the drill. When the outside dimension of the drill is 7.4 mm, an angle between the edge line 3a and a line perpendicular to the core 1a is 5 degrees and the core thickness (t) is 2.96 mm. Further, the drill is provided with a guide section 4 for preventing bending in the case of a cutting operation. The guide section 4 is provided on a heel side on the same circumference as that on which the outer end section of the cutting edges 3, 3 passes.

    摘要: A cutting tool includes: a body 2 that rotates about an axis center; a hole portion 3 that is open in a tip end surface 2 of the body 2; a wall portion 4 that is formed of the hole portion 3 and an outer circumferential surface 2b of the body 2; a notch portion 5 that is communicated with the hole portion 3; and a blade portion 6 that is formed or held at a portion where the notch portion 5 intersects with the tip end surface of the wall portion 4. The blade portion 6 includes an inner side surface 6h that passes through an inner end portion 6e of the bottom blade 6a and intersects with a rake surface through a ridge line. The inner side surface 6h is inclined to depart from a virtual cylindrical side surface towards the direction opposite to the rotational direction of the body 2.

    摘要: A tap with drill includes a drill portion including a plurality of chip discharge grooves and having drill blades for cutting a prepared hole. The tap further includes a tap portion for cutting the internal thread on an inner circumferential surface of the prepared hole formed by the drill blades, and oil holes. The tap with drill is applied for performing cutting work. The drill blades and thread cutting edges include three blades formed along chip discharge grooves, respectively. The oil holes are helically formed in three with the same leads as the chip discharge grooves and opened at relief surfaces of the drill blades, respectively. The chip discharge grooves straddle the drill portion and the tap portion in fixed groove sectional shapes and have negative lands swelled into grooves.
