    摘要: A failure information management method manages failure information related to a replaceable part of an electronic apparatus, by generating an error log, and storing the error log in a non-volatile memory of the replacement recommended part itself. The error log is generated by recording first generation information in a representative log information part and detailed log information part in a non-overwritable manner with respect to a first failure of a replacement recommended part, and by recording second generation information in the representative log information part and the detailed log information part in an overwritable manner with respect to second and subsequent failures of the replacement recommended part.

    摘要: A parallel processing system that has a synchronous function of creating a synchronous signal in a processing element to be synchronized by shifting synchronously from a program process to the next program process and can execute such a synchronous operation in a pipeline processing mode. The parallel processing system includes a plurality of signal lines arranged between a mutual connecting unit and each of the processing elements for transmitting the status information regarding each of the processing elements from the mutual connecting unit to all of the processing elements, and the transmitting circuit sequentially transmitting contents stored in the status storage unit to the plurality of signal lines, with predetermined phase difference, and then transmitting them in parallel to each of the processing elements. This parallel processing system is applicable to a computing system in which a plurality of processing elements share one program to execute a parallel processing operation.

    摘要: A data processing system including a small throughput access source and a large throughput access source therein for accessing a main storage unit in a consecutive block access mode. The system further includes a detecting unit and a selecting unit. The detecting unit detects an access conflict expected to occur at the same address of the main storage unit. The selecting unit responds to the detection by the detecting unit and momentarily stops the access by the small throughput access source to give priority to the large throughput access source for accessing the conflicting address of the main storage unit.
