    摘要: An editing control apparatus for use with first and second video tape recording and/or reproducing apparatuses, each employing a video tape having time code signals and control signals recorded thereon and which is advanced at a predetermined forward speed for recording and reproducing a video signal thereon, comprises first and second time code readers for reading the time code signals on the video tapes, first and second control signal readers for reading the control signals on the video tapes, and a control unit for controlling the video tape recording and/or reproducing apparatuses in response to the time code signals and the control signals to position the video tapes at respective preroll points by rewinding each of the video tapes at a first speed substantially greater than the predetermined forward speed to first predetermined points, and thereafter rewinding the respective video tapes at a second speed substantially less than the forward speed to the respective preroll points.

    摘要: Microorganism cells such as Saccharomyces or Candida yeast cells are treated with an alkaline aqueous solution with heating and stirring or with a cell wall dissolving enzyme such as glucanase or mannase to obtain cells that function as microcapsules by rapidly taking up a large amount of hydrophobic liquid. Treatment with an alkaline aqueous solution is preferably carried out at a pH of at least 8 for at least 1 hour at a temperature of 20.degree.-100.degree. C. A preferred embodiment of enzyme treatment is with .beta.-1,3-glucanase for about 30 minutes to 5 hours at pH 4-9 at a temperature of 30.degree.-60.degree. C. The treatments dissolve cell walls of the yeast such that the walls still have sufficient strength for enclosing hydrophobic liquids.

As the water-soluble polymer, there is used a terpolymer comprising (A) .alpha.-methylstyrene, (B) styrene and (C) maleic anhydride or a quadripolymer comprising (A) .alpha.-methylstyrene, (B) styrene, (C) maleic anhydride and (D) an esterification product of maleic anhydride. This method is especially useful for making pressure-sensitive copy paper.

    摘要: A tape position control apparatus for video tape recorders is mainly composed of a tape control device which functions to control the movement of a video tape, a count circuit for counting the number of control pulses reproduced from the video tape, a segment data memory for storing segment data indicating the number of control pulses from the tape for the top or beginning of each segmented video information which is recorded on the video tape with reference to segment number of the segmented video information, an input device for requesting to search one of the segmented video information by generating a segment number, a comparison circuit for comparing currently counted number stored in the count circuit with the top segment data for the requested segment number, and a command signal generating circuit for generating command signals to be supplied to the tape drive control circuit in order to search for the top of the requested video information.
