摘要： There are provided a resin composition having excellent wear properties and high flame retardancy, and a resin molding that results from melt molding of such composition. The resin composition is essentially comprised of: (A) a polycarbonate resin; (B) a modified polyolefin resin; (C) a compound represented by HOOC—R—NH2 where R is an alkylene, alkylidene, oligomethylene, phenylene or naphthylene group having 5 or more carbon atoms, respectively, wherein each of the phenylene and naphthylene groups may have substituent group; and (D) a specific phosphate ester.

摘要： A polycarbonate/polyolefin resin composition which has excellent wear property, mechanical strength and flame retardancy and which is adapted for use as a material for OA equipment, home appliance, automobile components, medical apparatus, and the like is provided. The polycarbonate/polyolefin resin composition contains a polycarbonate resin (A), a polyolefin resin (B), a modified polyolefin resin (C), a compound (D) represented by the formula (d): HOOC—R—NH2, a styrene copolymer resin (E), and a brominated polycarbonate oligomer and said diantimony tetraoxide and/or said diantimony pentaoxide (F) in a particular combination. The production process and an article molded from such resin composition are also provided.

摘要： The dispersant composed of a water-soluble salt of either a copolymer of a component in naphtha oil and maleic anhydride or a partial esterification product of said copolymer has improved dispersing ability and the dispersion containing this dispersant will experience only small changes with time.The cement admixture which is a salt of a copolymer of a component in naphtha oil and an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride or which has further contains a salt of the product of condensation between formaldehyde and a sulfonated aromatic hydrocarbon containing oil is an effective plasticizer and the cement mix incorporating this admixture has a satisfactory initial flow and will experience only small decrease in flowability over time.

摘要： A method of solidifying a steel-making slag is performed by subjecting a mixture of a steel-making slag containing at least about 50% by weight of a powdery steel-making slag having a particle size not greater than about 5 mm and a substance containing at least about 30% by weight of SiO2 (e.g., a fly ash and/or the fine powder of a granulated blast furnace slag) to a hydration reaction. The resulting solidified material contains at least about 20% of a tobermorite phase, has high strength and is suitable as an inorganic material useful as a roadbed material, building and civil engineering materials, etc.

摘要： A method for making an enameled steel sheet includes the steps of spraying a slurry to form a slurry layer onto a surface of a substrate and firing the slurry layer. In this method, the slurry has a static surface tension of 50 dyne/cm or less and an apparent viscosity of 500 mPa·s that is measured with a model E viscometer at a rotation of 100 rpm. Alternatively, the method includes a step of spraying a slurry for forming an enamel layer onto a surface of a substrate, wherein the substrate is vibrated when the slurry is applied or when the slurry applied is still fluid.

摘要： An industrially useful process for the production of an aromatic hydroxy compound which comprises reacting an aromatic sulfonic acid alkali metal salt and/or an aromatic sulfonic acid with an alkali metal hydroxide in the presence of a surface active agent, wherein the reaction is effected by uniformly dispersing these-materials in a reaction medium selected from aliphatic, alicyclic and aromatic hydrocarbons. By employing this process, the product can be obtained with high purity, high yield and high selectivity using a minimum amount of the alkali metal hydroxide.
