    摘要: In the conventional peak factor reduction technique, since the signal has been changed over broad time width before and behind the peak amplitude, the deterioration in signal quality has been great. Through the use of a compensating signal having impulse property that is generated on the peak amplitude, subtraction from the peak amplitude will be performed. Thereby, since it is possible to reduce the deterioration in signal quality that occurs when reducing the peak factor, the peak factor reduction effect can be further enhanced in the same deterioration in signal quality as the conventional one.

    摘要: The linearity of a transmission signal is improved in a wireless communication device by adjusting a delay difference between paths of two signals that are combined into one after modulation through the paths of different delay amounts, such as an r signal and a θ signal in EER. A transmitter includes: a DA converter unit which converts, into analog signals, separated input digital signals; a combiner which combines the analog signals obtained through the DA conversion with each other; an distributor which extracts a feedback signal; an AD converter which converts the feedback signal into a digital signal; an oscillator unit which supplies clock signals to the converters; a first separation unit which separates the feedback signal; and a comparator unit which compares the input signal and the feedback signal, wherein the oscillator unit controls the output clock signals based on a result of the comparison.

    摘要: Disclosed herewith is a radio communication apparatus capable of selecting proper one of plural communication modes such as a MIMO communication system so as to obtain a higher communication rate within a range in which chain retransmission occurrence is prevented. The MIMO system deciding section of the transmitter unit decides a proper MIMO system with reference to the CQI value demultiplexed by a demultiplexer and the AMC table controlling section changes the MCS value step by step according to the transmission count and the result (success/failure) of the communication. Furthermore, the AMC table controlling section updates the mean rate in the measured rate table when the subject data is received successfully or when the transmission count reaches the maximum value.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image former for forming an unfixed toner image on a recording material, and a fixer for fixing the unfixed toner image on the recording material. The fixer includes a rotatable member for forming a fixing nip for nipping and feeding the recording material, and a cleaner, movable toward and away from the rotatable member, for cleaning the rotatable member. The apparatus is operable in a blankless image formation mode for forming the toner image without a blank at least at one of a leading end and a trailing end of the recording material. The cleaner contacts the rotatable member when a portion of the rotatable member in a blankless range at the leading end or the trailing end of the recording material reaches a position where the portion opposes the cleaner.
