    摘要: Provided is an invention for efficiently searching for books used in training to reduce metathesis. A book search database storage unit 110 stores a book search database in which information identifying a book, information regarding a frequency of a proximity number for a mora character notation pair appearing in forward order in the book, and information regarding a frequency of a proximity number for the mora character notation pair appearing in reverse order are associated with each other. A display unit 300 displays a book search screen including a correctly pronounced phrase input region and an incorrectly pronounced phrase input region. A subject pronunciation designation unit 120 determines two mora character notations and a proximity number to use as search conditions based on an input of the correctly pronounced phrase input region and an input of the incorrectly pronounced phrase input region. A subject book information generation unit 130 generates search results including information regarding books matching the search conditions from the book search database.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method increase data exploration and facilitate changing between exploratory and iterative searching. A virtual widget is movable on a display device in response to detected user gestures. Graphic objects are displayed on the display device, representing respective documents in a search document collection. The virtual widget is populated with a first query term, which can be used for an iterative search. Semantic terms that are predicted to be semantically related to it are identified, based on a computed similarity between multidimensional representations of terms in a training document collection. The multidimensional representations are output by a semantic model which takes into account context of the respective terms in the training document collection. A user selects one of the set of semantic terms for generating a semantic query for an exploratory search. Documents in the search document collection that are responsive to the semantic query are identified.

The query word extraction unit extracts, from an input sentence, a word for use in a search as a query word. The intention estimation unit estimates a search intention based on the input sentence. The query generator acquires, from a search expression list, a search expression corresponding to the estimated search intention, acquires, from an additional query word list, an additional query word corresponding to a set of the acquired search expression and the extracted query word, and generates a query based on the extracted query word, the acquired additional query word, and the acquired search expression. The search unit searches for a document that matches the query.
