    摘要: The present invention provides a display device using a copper wiring and having high display properties in which without preventing a higher aperture ratio of the pixel, coloring of a screen due to reflected light of external light produced within the display device can be prevented. The display device according to the present invention is a display device including a plurality of pixel regions, wherein each of the pixel regions includes a copper wiring containing copper or an alloy thereof, and a red-colored layer and a colored layer of another color; and an area of the copper wiring is smaller in the pixel region including the red-colored layer than in the pixel region including the colored layer of another color, the area of the copper wiring reflecting incident light entering from the display surface side of the display device.

    摘要: A color filter includes a black matrix and a color section. The black matrix has a plurality of partition sections extended alongside each other with a gap region therebetween. The color section is in a gap region of the black matrix. The color section is formed by applying a film material into the gap region of the black matrix by the ink-jet method, and then curing the film material thus applied. The black matrix has a protrusion section by which the gap region is partially narrowed. In applying the film material, the protrusion section functions as a barrier against the film material flowing, in the gap region. This prevents color mixing and uneven color density while maintaining high productivity.

    摘要: A high-quality color filter substrate is manufactured simply and at low cost by using a color filter substrate manufacturing method of applying a coloring liquid to a substrate surface of a translucent substrate so as to form at least colored layer, including: contacting step of causing a coloring liquid supplied from a coloring liquid supplying section to bring into contact with areas showing lyophilic property to the coloring liquid and areas showing lyophobic property to the coloring liquid, both of the areas being formed on the substrate surface; and applying step of, after the contacting step, causing relative movement between the coloring liquid supplying section and the translucent substrate while continuously supplying a coloring liquid from the coloring liquid supplying section.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a color filter in accordance with the present invention includes: (i) a latent image forming step in which, with respect to a polysilane film, first and second exposure processes having different exposure patterns and different ultraviolet light exposure amounts are carried out, and colorants are applied to the polysilane film on which first and second latent images are formed; and a coloration step in which the first and second latent images are colored by applying colorants thereto. With this, it is possible to form a first density area corresponding to transmissive image reproduction and a second density area corresponding to a second density area. Accordingly a high-quality color filter for multi-scene displays can be manufactured with fewer manufacturing steps.
