摘要： A method for measuring a biomass which comprises measuring an electric capacitance across at least one pair of electrodes attached to a bioreactor, and thereby continuously measuring a biomass of organisms (such as microorganism and plant or animal cells), which may or may not be immobilized in the bioreactor, according to the electric capacitance (dielectric permitivity) measured. The present invention permits one to measure on-line the quantities of microorgansisms or plant or animal cells without having to take samples from a bioreactor or culture tank.

摘要： To prevent damage, for example, to a rear side cover that covers a seat rail from outward in a vehicle width direction, a motorcycle is disclosed having a glove bar fixed to seat rails and configured to be grasped by a fellow passenger seated on a seat. The glove bar may include a support portion fixed to the seat rails to extend outward in a motorcycle width direction and above rear side covers, grips supported by the support portion to extend rearwardly of the seat and configured to be grasped by the fellow passenger, and protective bar portions of a cantilevered structure supported by portions of the support portion positioned above the rear side cover and passing above the rear side covers to extend forward in the motorcycle width direction to protect the rear side covers.

For example, a motorcycle is disclosed for an embodiment having a rear fender that covers a rear wheel, and lights supported by the rear fender. The rear fender includes a support portion that supports the lights, and a lower mudguard extending downward from the support portion, and a dented portion is formed on a surface thereof between the support portion and the lower mudguard to extend to one edge of the rear fender in a motorcycle width direction from the other edge.
