    摘要: The liquid waste after pulp bleaching can be treated by using a microorganism having lignin degradation activity and having been pre-cultured in a culture medium supplemented with the liquid waste after pulp bleaching and/or lignin related substances, the cultured products thereof and/or the treated products thereof.The scarcely degradable colored ingredients and/or chlorinated phenols contained in the liquid waste after pulp bleaching can be decomposed and removed, whereby the efficient treatment of the liquid waste after pulp bleaching can be achieved.

In accordance with the present invention, the plastic which has conventionally been decomposed with difficulty can be decomposed efficiently.

    摘要: This invention provides a new fermentation method and apparatus for the same for producing a substance by a microbial action from a gaseous substrate, wherein the cells of a microorganism fixed to a carrier are held in a reactor, an aqueous solution is fed to said reactor so as to moisten at least part of the surface of said microbial cells, and said gaseous substrate is forced to pass through the interstices of said microbial cells, thereby causing direct reaction between the microorganism and the gaseous substrate and effecting efficient biosynthesis of methane, formic acid and other substances.
