    摘要： A multi-user receiving apparatus is provided for achieving a reduction in the amount of processing for single-carrier FDMA signals and an improvement in reception characteristics. A DFT unit converts single-carrier FDMA received signals of all users to signals in a frequency domain commonly. A demapping unit selects part of sub-carriers for each user from sub-carriers supplied from the DFT unit. A reception filter separates a user signal and suppresses noise. A demodulator demodulates the user signal, and detects a timing thereof.

A transmitter amplifies a signal by a gain proportional to a difference between a required signal-to-noise power ratio and channel quality information, which is an estimation result of the channel quality, and transmits the signal so that the receiver can obtain the signal-to-noise power ratio. In this case, the receiver or the transmitter determines a roll-off rate of an adaptive filter based on the channel quality information. The transmitter uses the adaptive filter of the determined roll-off rate to filter and transmit the signal.

    摘要： To provide a reference signal generation method and apparatus capable of obtaining many reference signal sequences having excellent properties. CAZAC sequences that satisfy the condition that the absolute value (|N−L|) of a difference between a sub-carrier number N in a resource block and a CAZAC sequence length L is not larger than a threshold value K are selected, and a sequence having a largest among greatest prime factors among the prime factors constituting the sequence length(s) is further selected from the initially selected sequences. Then, a reference signal sequence(s) is generated from a selected CAZAC sequence.

    摘要： A radio communication system for covering a service area with a plurality of cells and dividing and allocating a system band of each cell to a mobile station has a division pattern server and a base station. The division pattern server decides a division pattern indicating a pattern of dividing the system band which is commonly applied to a predetermined range to which the plurality of cells belong. The base station divides the system band into two or more bands, using the division pattern decided by the division pattern server, and allocates the band as a pilot transmission frequency band to the mobile station accommodated in the cell constructed by the base station.
