    摘要: To reduce moment generated at the proximal portion and the supporting portion of a brake pedal and to prevent an increase in weight even when the brake pedal is disposed outside a vehicle body and an operating unit is disposed away from the brake pedal within the vehicle body. A supporting shaft rotates integrally with the brake pedal by being connected with the brake pedal at one end with a supporting member for supporting both ends of the supporting shaft. An operating member is provided for operating an operating unit by rotation of the brake pedal and the supporting shaft by being connected to the other end of the supporting shaft at the position away from the brake pedal are provided. A pedal pad unit includes a flat depressing surface forming portion to be covered by a cover on the front face on which the driver depresses and a mounting portion extending from the depressing surface forming portion in the direction opposite from the cover for being pivotally mounted on the pedal lever unit. The depressing surface forming portion and the mounting portion are integrally formed.

    摘要: A motorcycle includes a head pipe, left and right main frames extending rearwardly from the head pipe on left and right sides, respectively, and a cowl stay extending forwardly from the left and right main frames and supporting a cowling, which protectively covers a front portion of the motorcycle. The cowl stay is positioned such that its front end portion is located rearwardly of a front end portion of a front wheel, and in front of a tip portion of a head light disposed on a front portion of the head pipe so as to illuminate an area in front of the motorcycle. The cowl stay is disposed at a position located above a center of gravity of the motorcycle.

In a cowl structure for a vehicle which includes a front cowl for covering a front portion of a vehicle body, a radiator is positioned in front of the cylinder heads of the engine. A radiator cover is provided for covering the radiator ranging from side surfaces to a lower end of the radiator. Bulging portions are provided for bulging from a front portion to a rear portion of the radiator cover and being formed in a direction to be rearwardly and upwardly oblique in a side view of the vehicle. The bulging portions are formed on a lower end portion of the radiator cover.

    摘要: A recessed portion recessed downwardly is provided on an upper face of a fuel tank supported in a crossing manner on a main frame extending rearwardly from a head pipe, and a tank pocket is accommodated in the recessed portion. The tank pocket includes a body case open upwardly, and a lid for opening and closing the opening of the body case. A popup lever provided at a front portion of the lid is popped up by a popup mechanism when the popup lever is pushed downwardly by a predetermined amount. Front portions of the lid and the body case are engaged with each other by an engaging projection and a latch, and the engagement is maintained even if the popup lever is popped up. In order to open the lid, two-stage operations are required without fail. Inadvertent opening of the lid can be blocked.
